General Notes | Fiona is the sweetest chocolate labx. She has tons of energy to play but can also chill when it's time. Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Health Notes | Healthy! She is one of the softest dogs! Recenty gave birth to a litter of pups. She can now transition to a loving home. Other Dogs | Fiona is happy to engage and play with my dog, however, my dog is older and does not always want to play... Fiona can also respect my dog's space and leave her alone. Fiona loves to be the center of attention. Cats | Unknown. Fiona appears to have some hunting instincts. Children | She cuddles and snuggles and would be good for kids that want to give and get attention. Due to her energy level, elementary school age and up would be great! Training | Knows her name and sit. She needs coaching, and training to be under voice command and to be the best dog ever! Working on "off," "leave it," and "come," and "stay." We have not crate trained her as she hangs with my dog during the day and when we are gone. We just gate her out of an area. She is into chewing if she is anxious so we have tons of chew toys for her. She is sleeping in her dog bed or at my feet during the night. Leash | Enjoys the leash. She could use some heal training, but what lab couldn't ;) Activity Level | She is a one year old puppy. She has high energy, but she also sleeps well and loves to snuggle. Personality | She is a happy dog, full of personality, and loves to be around her humans. We have noticed when there are animals or other dogs on the TV, Fiona watches and listens to them. She loves Dr. Pol, the animal vet show. Her head tilts when she sees other animals or she gets close to the TV. She also likes to check your face to make sure you are okay. Story | This girl has had a rough start but she is ready to give love and receive love. Anyone who adopts her will be rewarded with a playful, smart, and beautiful dog that is looking for a bond and lots of snuggles! Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $350 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $300 for 1-6 years, $250 for dogs 7-10 years, and $100 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $400. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $500 per dog). Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption.
