She already knows her sit and will keep learning more. Leash | The leash is new so we keep practicing on little walks.  Activity Level | Cookies is active and curious about her surroundings! She loves to play with her foster sister and all the new toys! Bones and sticks have been her favorite. After playing, she's content to lay in the shade and take a rest. General Notes | Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Personality | Super mellow, sweet, loving and gentle girl that is eager to please and be loved. This girl just needs some good ole fashion TLC.  She loves mealtime and a voracious eater who gives you the cutest little hops as she awaits her food.  She did really well during her first bath and got a much needed cleaning.  She does great around strangers...friendly, doesn't jump or act aggressive in any way.  As she's settled in her personality is starting to show and become more playful.  At the beginning at least, she would benefit from someone who's not gone a lot during the day.  She's currently struggling when confined and alone.  With time and patience, she's going to be a great dog. Story | This mama flew in from Arkansas on private flight.  After saying goodbye to her five puppies she is ready for her solo adventure! Other Dogs | Friendly and has displayed no aggression towards other dogs. Cats | Friendly Children | Friendly Training | Food motivated, but unsure of past obedience training.  She does well travelling in crate in the car, but the crate training at home is a work in progress.  She's had a few accidents in the house but has been good about going outside majority of the time.   Leash | No problems on the leash but doesn't seem very natural for her yet.  She is skittish around moving vehicles so may not have much exposure to urban settings. Little to no reactivity to other animals. Activity Level | Pretty low activity level right now as she gets rejuvenated after taking care of puppies.  She has really enjoyed exploring the outdoors on leisurely walks. Health Notes |  Bailey is heartworm positive, but treatment is very successful and completely manageable with all the proper education.  Heartworm positive dogs go on to live happy, normal lives after treatment and rarely experience long-term side effects. Don't let this stop you from adopting Bailey!  Thank you! |  Adoption Donations |  Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age.
