General Notes | Sunshine, sweet licks & badass cuddles...! that sums up Lita! This is girl is sugar and spice. Our bebe g is a lovebug. And, your home will change for the forever better if Lita joins your family. Lita is fearless, sensitive, a little rowdy, fill of love, a calculated boundary pusher, full of light, gorgeous, and she wears her heart on her sleeve. Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Health Notes | Lita is healthy and thriving. Eating like a champ - puppy food, chews, and treats. She is pooping outside with no issues. She LOVES frozen kongs and toppls. Other Dogs | Lita plays follow the leader with our two-year-old lab so we believe she may be the best fit in a fam with a doggo sibling, or with a lot of doggo social playtime. She is great with our doggos and our boys adore her. She is a tiny bit fearful at loud noises, all puppy business. She is playful with our two big fur boys with no issue jumping into a wrestling match. She uses our two-year-old lab as a slide! Her lil pounce is just about the cutest darn thing I have ever experienced, like living with a silky tiger cub babyface. Cats | N/A Children | N/A Training | Lita is fully kennel trained and sleeps through the night with a blanket over the kennel so that she has a safe little cave! That's right, y'll. Lita is the labbie jackpot! Lita is just learning to sit and because Lita is a superstar she will surely pick up the other basics with ease. She has great recall to her name and also responds when being told "no no". Leash | Lita is figuring out the leash/soft harness and walking. She is still little so she stays by your side but needs more positive reinforcement traning with walking for sure. Activity Level | Lita is an adventurer! Ready to explore and full of wonder. She is fearless and brave and also gives a fantastic snuggle. She is exploring our yard. Lita is interested in the world around her and all the sounds. She is aware and perky! She chases and plays with her cuddly unicorn plush. She loves music. She is just the cutest, spry little bounder. As she settles in she is playing well alone in her play kennel and also playing well with her fur brothers in the living room. She is taking lots of quiet, non-stimulus naps in-between play sessions with her bros during the day as she grows. Her zoomies are just next level precious. Personality | Lita! What a doll. This puppy is sunshine and sweet licks. She smells like baby doggo heaven. When you call her name she smiles because she is the absolute best. This puppy stole our hearts. She is such a bold lil lady with so much love. She is finding her voice and she is super intuitive. This bebe doggo is smart and solves problems for herself with ease. Lita LOVES belly rubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She jumps and runs and tumbles. She is a real treasure. Lita is ready to take on the world by your side. Story | Lita is the starlet of the Texas 12. She was born in December 2021 in Texas. Her fierce mama protected her and her 11 siblings, kept them safe until they were rescued by a local shelter. The shelter reached out to Mile High Lab Mission, and the puppies were flown to Colorado because the team at Mile High is the best ever. Her mama ran away before she could board the plane keeping her babies protected until they reached safety. Lita takes after he mama, fierce and bold and brave. She is a gem. Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $375 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $325 for 1-6 years, $275 for dogs 7-10 years, and $125 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $425. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $500 per dog). Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page! We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for 90 days from the time of approval for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.
