General Notes | Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Doolin was surrendered by a breeder in Missouri along with lots of siblings . She is gaining more confidence everyday and would do best in a home that has another dog to show her the ropes. She is not afraid of loud noises ( vacuum or power tools) at all. She is on the smaller side and a total sweetheart. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night and has not had a single accident inside. Health Notes |  Other Dogs | loves other dogs!  Cats |  Children | She met our two neighbor boys and loved them. She LOVES to be outside and play with our dogs and all toys.  Personality   She has the sweetest personality. General Notes | Super friendly & loves other dogs!  Come meet Bailey ! Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Personality | Bailey is a super friendly dog! She has a great personality that will quickly win you over. She loves everyone she meets! She loves to follow you around the house and see all the action! Bailey is playful and sweet with other dogs. She's looking for an adopter that will adore her and treat her like the princess she is. Story | Bailey was found as a stray in rural Kansas. She was roaming a rural area with a few other dogs. A nice person took them in and cared for them.  Other Dogs | Very dog friendly! Bailey is affectionate around other dogs. She interacts well with new dogs so far! She has been a little finicky with our male lab but we think she's just learning where she fits in - she likes to be the leader, and the closest to the human! A lax/laid back dog would be perfect buddy for her!  Cats | Unbothered. She has been around an older, groucy cat and didn't pay much attention to it. Children | Bailey loves all people, including children. She is gentle and enjoys taking treats from them.  Training | She knows how to sit and takes treats nicely, but she's really a blank slate. Eager to learn! She still has some puppy nipping/nibbling & has some separation anxiety so she would definitely benefit from some formal training but she's been a quick learn so far. Must be kept in crate when unattended. Generally potty trained - but she won't always tell you when she needs to go out.  Leash | Bailey does ok on the leash. She just needs more exposure. Activity Level | Medium-high. Bailey is a young lab mix that like to run and play. She needs daily exercise before she settles down. Loves to sniff run and walk! Health Notes | No health concerns. Thank you! |  Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $425 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $375 for 1-6 years, $325 for dogs 7-10 years, and $175 for 11+ years of age. General Notes | Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application.  Health Notes | Pickles is healthy apart from significant hair loss due to insufficient care prior to becoming a Mile High 'Lab'. He is being treated for a skin infection and taking daily allergy medicine and his hair is coming back in beautifully. Other Dogs |  Pickles is currently living with the 85lb resident lab and does great sharing toys and bones with her. He is content with or without other dogs.  Cats | Unknown but we are guessing he would love cats.  Children | Pickles loves the little humans he is currently living with. He is happy to chase them around and be chased by them. He doesn't mind them picking him up or covering him with blankets.  Training | Pickles is VERY food motivated which makes him easier to train! He is learning that he gets a special treat when he uses the bathroom outside. He is learning that it's ok to be in a crate and that someone will return to let him out.  Leash | Pickles does great on a leash with a harness. He is gentle and doesn't pull except to sniff every now and then. He loves going for walks with the resident dog and even the small humans in the house can walk him! Activity Level | Pickles energy depends on the energy in the house. If everyone is calm, he is snuggled by you on the couch. If the kids are running around and playing, he is right there to watch everything going on.  Personality | The cutest! He will follow you around and look at with you with the funniest little face that you just can't help a laugh at. Really the perfect mix of spunk (he will shake around a toy as big as him!) and chill snuggles. General Notes | Good looking and Good natured, meet good time guy Aristo!  Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Personality | Aristo is a fun-loving dog with all the best Labrador traits. His tail is constantly wagging and he is so happy to be involved in anything you're doing! He loves running, playing fetch, sniffing all the smells, and rubbing up against his people for pets. He absolutely loves to play with toys and will grab one to greet you in the morning. He is super sweet and loves to snuggle with you on the couch at night. Story | Aristo was brought into the shelter by animal control after roaming a rural area for awhile. He knows commands so we believe he was someones pet at some time, but he was not microchipped and no one came looking for him.  Other Dogs | Great. Aristo LOVES to play with and be around other dogs. He does best with other active, young dogs that can match his energy. Here's Aristo meeting another dog: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JV-eGUc97rw Cats | Unbothered! Aristo was tested with a cat at the vet clinic and he paid it zero attention. Here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5IpnoqIy60 Children |  Training | Aristo knows basic commands like sit, come and down. He is very intelligent and eager to learn! We're working on drop it and leave it now. He has been doing great with going in his kennel and sleeps in there all night with no problems at all. He is completely housebroken and will go potty pretty much right away when he goes outside. Leash | He pulls a bit from excitement, but is overall very good on the leash for his age. Will improve with expsosure and training.  Activity Level | Medium-high. Aristo can be a ball of energy. He is a young lab that is ready to play with people and other dogs. Have a ball? He wants you to throw it! He will be a great adventure buddy for an active adopter. Here's Aristo playing with toys: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Y-NiN-LAv90 Health Notes | Aristo is heartworm positive. MHLRM will cover the expense of treatment with one of our approved veterinarians. Heartworm positive dogs go on to live happy, normal lives after treatment and rarely experience long-term side effects. Don't let this stop you from adopting Aristo!  Thank you! |  Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $425 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $375 for 1-6 years, $325 for dogs 7-10 years, and $175 for 11+ years of age.
