Meet Mae! She's a super sweet, energetic gal who can't wait to meet her forever family! Mae is a typical lab puppy who loves to play hard and sleep harder. She loves to love! Give her belly rubs and you'll be rewarded with tons of puppy kisses and a new BFF. General Notes | Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Health Notes | She is happy and healthy! Other Dogs | She does great with other dogs, including her current and previous foster siblings. She was a little bit unsure when she first arrived, but within a day, they were having a great time wearing each other out! Check out the video of her playing with her foster bro, and another video with her sister. Cats | She had a cat in her prior foster home, and was interested but showed no agression. Children | She absolutely loves playing with our kids (ages 9-13). Training | This is a work in progress, but she is learning quickly! Since day 1, she has done amazingly well in her crate! She sleeps through the night without a peep. We have been working on getting her to stop jumping up on people and counter surfing... she's improving! She is doing great with potty training, and has it down besides a random accident on rare occasion. This girl is suuuuuper food motivated, which has helped with training! Leash | She is doing great! Activity Level | Typical lab puppy. She plays hard then needs a nap. She doesn't mind her crate at all - will go in on her own just to rest. Personality | She is such a sweetie! Her personality seems to be easy going and very curious. She was pretty timid on day one, but quickly warmed up and now it is like she's always been part of our family. She is a cuddle-bug when she becomes comfortable with her surroundings. Her favorite thing is to snuggle up and get some belly rubs! She loves to play with our adult dog. She is pretty quiet for the most part, but will bark on occasion, especially if she sees something or someone new. She loves to eat, so training her with kibble and treats will easy. Story | She came from Oklahoma with her three sisters, but we don't have much more information about her background. Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $425 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $375 for 1-6 years, $325 for dogs 7-10 years, and $175 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $475. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog). Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page! We cannot guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for 90 days from the time of approval for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.
