General Notes | Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Chase is a fearless fluffenutter. It is so fun to watch him conquer new things in puppy life every day. He is not afraid of much and always exploring. He loves playing in the snow and finding leaves to run around with. He plays great with his brother and a 3 yr old lab. He's getting the hang of going potty outside and will cry by the door sometimes to let you know he needs to go out. He also sleeps through the night (7-8 hours). His new family will always be smiling and laughing with him around!  Health Notes |  Other Dogs |  Cats |  Children |  Training |  Leash |  Activity Level |  Personality |  Story |  Thank you! |  Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $425 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $375 for 1-6 years, $325 for dogs 7-10 years, and $175 for 11+ years of age. General Notes | Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Health Notes | No health concerns. Zuma is a healthy 8-week-old puppy. Other Dogs | Zuma is great with other dogs. His foster family has 3 dogs (1 medium, 2 large) and he is very playful with each of them. He does well respecting boundaries of the old grouchy dog while nicely playing with the younger two. Zuma would do well in a home as an only dog or with fur siblings.  Cats | He has not met a cat yet, but considering her age, he will most likely do fine with proper introduction.  Children | Zuma's foster mom has a 4 month old baby and he shows some curiousity when baby cries or squeals. But overall, he is mostly unphased by having baby around. As always, we recommend supervision when puppies and children meet to ensure boundaries are respected :)  Training | Zuma is a smart boy! He knows sit and is working to learn lay down and come. Foster mom can tell he will be a well-trained pup with a dedicated adopter.  Leash | Too little for a leash right now, but we'll start working on exposure to it soon!  Activity Level | Zuma is your typical young puppy. He LOVES to get the zoomies. He also loves crawling under things like tables, chairs and beds. He'll then POUNCE out when you walk by! So silly! He loves chewing on bones and squeaky toys.  Personality | This little boy is quite fiesty! He knows what he wants and is determined to get it. He loves to play but is also a great napper. He will snuggle next to you and start to snore! Any adopter will be lucky to call Zuma theirs.  Story | Zuma, his 7 siblings, and mom were found abandoned in rural Texas. The puppies were locked in a kennel with mom stuck on the outside. They were only 3 weeks old at the time. Thankfully a kind person found them and alerted our rescue. They have been safe and warm in foster homes since then! Thank you! Puppies have been in a loving foster and exposed to chickens, ducks and cats! Right now, she is with 2 dogs, a cat and two kids. She's amazingly sweet and well-behaved. She's good in the office, in the car (she loves heated seats) and at home. She's about 75% on potty training, with going outside every hour or two. She likes to cuddle and observe. She likes her crate and will go in when she's got a toy. She sleeps from about 10 pm to 6 or 7 am. She's all black with a titch of white on her back toes and chest. Her belly has the most adorable splotches. She loves belly rubs, socks, food and big, fluffy dog beds. She gets the cutest puppy hiccups! Her play growls and barks and so sweet. This go with the flow gal will make a great addition to a family! Health Notes |  Other Dogs | Pepper is submissive. She tries to play with our 70 and 50 lb pups, but usually ends up showing her belly any time they start to wrestle. She will engage in tug-of-war / hold on to a toy as she slides across the hardwoods. She'll play chase around a sofa that the larger dogs can't fit behind. She'll tease them from the safety of the sofa. Watch out for your socks, she loves to nibble them and carry them around. Cats | Hisses scare her. She's interested in the kitty, but tucks and runs when she hears a hiss. She'll bark at the kitty and then run away. The cat hasn't even had the chance to bop her yet. Children | Great with kids! Ours are 7 and 5 and are very handsy. Pepper is very patient, but she has sharp puppy teeth. Training | She's doing pretty good with sit and exceptionally well with potty training. She's extremely food-motivated. Leash | She's not too sure about the leash yet. She goes in fits and starts and isn't ready for long leashed walks.  Activity Level | She's very calm for a puppy. Personality | Sweet cuddle bug, with a bit of sass that comes out every once in a while. Story |  Thank you! Athena LOVES every person and dog she meets! She loves attention and learning new things. She is a tall and graceful girl who can be both playful and calm when she has time to get her wiggles out. She is working on building up her trust for scary things like car rides and loud noises, but with the perfect person she will find her confidence. Health Notes |  Other Dogs | Athena lives with her older foster sister and has really enjoyed having someone to show her the ropes. She loves meeting new dogs on walks and hikes. 🚶‍♀️  Athena likes to make friends everywhere she goes! She's still very much a puppy and will paw at them to try to get them to play. 🐶 She loves her food and is working on understanding that not every other dog is out to steal her yummy food. 🥩  Cats | Unfortuantely Athena and cats will not do well together. Children | Athena has met kids at the park but is currently in a home without then. Foster mom is planning to introduce her to more kids soon. 😊  Training | Athena is well on her way to being a perfect citizen. She responds to "come" and "come here" and will "sit" (she backs way back to sit). She also learned "paw" (or shake), "down" and is working on "stay." Her foster mom thinks she has the potential to learn even MORE tricks. ✨  She has lovely manners and doesn't beg for food and is motivated by love more than treats. She's definitely a lover and leaner. ❤️  She does well going to the bathroom outside and has only had two accidents in the house...the first was day one after a long plane ride and the second was after a long car ride. Athena free roams when her foster mom is out and has done great! Leash | Right now we are working on not pulling but this lady is SMART cookie! She does great walking in a group especially with another dog but also loves going for runs alone with someone. She does pretty good hiking off leash and stays close by her foster mom and foster dog sister. Activity Level | This gal LOVES fetch! 🎾  She would be an amazing running or hiking partner 🏔  but also knows when it's time to snooze. 💤  Personality | Athena is such a sweet and goofy girl. She reminds us of a gentle giant mixed with a floppy puppy. She's a little clumsy at times and has some silly quirks like hiding treats. Story | She's between 1-4. Her teeth look pretty pearly white and her puppy-like mannerisms make her seem young. She has some gray fur on her belly and it wouldn't surprise us if she was mixed with some sort of pointer. She loves chasing squirrels and will sometimes lift up one front leg to point. Thank you! | Please reach out if you think you might be Athena's perfect person! 💜 🐶  Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $425 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $375 for 1-6 years, $325 for dogs 7-10 years, and $175 for 11+ years of age. General Notes | Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Prince is initially shy but warms up quickly. He's nervous with sudden movements but doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body!  He come equipped with Puppy Energy 4.0, but settles down to sleep in the sun quietly. Such a cuddler! He's trusting but timid, and loves affection SO much! 100% Potty Trained, learned the dog dor immediately, and no accidents! He's eager to please and just needs a home that will show him positive reinforcement.  Health Notes | Underweight. This skinny boy needs some calories and will probably grow up to be 60-69 lbs. Food motivated and eager to please! Other Dogs | LOVES other dogs!!! This lil' man really enjoys being park of the pack. He's not an Alpha and is respectful to other pups, but MAN he LOVES to PLAY!!!! Cats | Unknown. He would probably be scared of them and wouldn't bother them or curious. Children | Unknown. He is very startled by sudden movements till he feels safe. He is gentle and understands "No!" and really just wants to meet every human who will give ear rubs. Training | 100% house trained. Working on the basics beyond that. He very much wants to please his people/"pack." Jumps right into the car (trunk or back seat) but gets a little nervous, but a few more trips to the dog park should fix that! Plenty of puppy energy around other dogs - he follows and learns from his foster brothers a lot. He's accepting of the crate, which we've used while out of the house. He's curious and finds random things that look interesting to chew, but leaves them alone with a strong "No!". He sleeps all night on a dog bed (or your bed) in the bedroom and will let you know when he needs to be let out in the morning. Leash | He doesn't mind being attached to a leash, but he is a strong puller and will need training. Doesn't lunge or display any reactivity. He would really just like to meet everyone on our walks. Has encountered runners, construction vehicles, and sirens and wasn't phased. Activity Level | Moderate./High He is a young dog and he's pretty low-key with just a person around. But he really comes out of his shell and thrives around other dogs! He'd probably do best in a home with one or two other non-senior fur babies. Sleeps like an angel!  Personality | Total people-pleaser and cuddle bug! He's a little shy at first, but all he really wants is ear scritches and cuddles and soft spots to sleep on. He could be a great hiking companion or the best bar-hopping/dog park-hopping buddy EVER! He'd love another fur friend in the house (and you might too... let them get that energy out!) His foster family has three dogs (2 large, 1 medium). He gets along well with all of them, including the old grouchy one that growls at him! He also does well meeting dogs on leash. Clyde would be great in a home with a playful companion, but would also be fine as an only dog.  Cats | Unsure. He has not been exposed to cats and might be a little too energetic for them.  Children | Clyde's foster family has a four month old baby. He shows zero interest or concern when baby cries! He lays calmly on the floor while baby plays. He met a few older children (6-10 years old) at an adoption event and LOVED them! Gave them sweet kisses and wiggled his butt for pets. He loves attention and belly rubs so he will most likely do well in a home with all ages. He shows absolutely zero aggression toward anyone of any age.  Training | He is extremely responsive to training. LOVES treats which makes training easy! He currently knows sit, off and no. He is working to learn other commands like crate and lay down. Clyde does not get on furniture. He sleeps in his crate from 9pm-7am without making a sound. He is currently crated when his foster family leaves the home, but he has not been destructive to any items when left unattended. He is housebroken, but as expected with male dogs, he did mark on a few spots when first brought into the home. He stopped this behavior in less than a day. Leash | Clyde is a strong boy! He does best in a harness. He gets distracted and wants to sniff everything and everyone, but is learning to walk nicely! Clyde shows no aggression when greeting people or dogs on leash. He wags his tail in excitement and waits for pets.  Activity Level | Clyde is approximately 4 years old with plenty of pep in his step. He does not require a ton of exercise, but does enjoy playing or going on a walk in the morning before he lays down for the day. He is learning all about toys and how to play with them. Foster mom says is the perfect mix of lowkey and fun! Personality | Clyde is such a hunk of love! You can tell he just wants to make you happy. He's sweet, goofy and eager to please. He attended an adoption event that was loud and busy. He behaved perfectly! He greeted people and dogs without any issues. Everyone kept complimenting how sweet he is :)  Story | This angel boy was 20 minutes away from dying in a high-kill shelter in New Mexico. We know he is not the most labby-ish lab, but couldn't say no to his kind eyes. We are so glad Clyde made it out alive and is a part of our rescue. He will be the perfect companion to any adopter.  Worried about his pitbull traits? According to the American Temperament Test Society, Pit Bulls pass their temperament test conducted by a trained handler 87% of the time. That ranks them as 4th best of 122 breeds tested, meaning they are one of the most affectionate and least aggressive dogs. Clyde lives up to this statistic!  Thank you! |  Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $425 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $375 for 1-6 years, $325 for dogs 7-10 years, and $175 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $475. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog). Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only.  To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page! We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved.  Your application is good for 90 days from the time of approval for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.  show less

Meet Mae! She's a super sweet, energetic gal who can't wait to meet her forever family! Mae is a typical lab puppy who loves to play hard and sleep harder. She loves to love! Give her belly rubs and you'll be rewarded with tons of puppy kisses and a new BFF.  General Notes | Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Health Notes | She is happy and healthy! Other Dogs | She does great with other dogs, including her current and previous foster siblings. She was a little bit unsure when she first arrived, but within a day, they were having a great time wearing each other out! Check out the video of her playing with her foster bro, and another video with her sister.  Cats | She had a cat in her prior foster home, and was interested but showed no agression. Children | She absolutely loves playing with our kids (ages 9-13).  Training | This is a work in progress, but she is learning quickly! Since day 1, she has done amazingly well in her crate! She sleeps through the night without a peep. We have been working on getting her to stop jumping up on people and counter surfing... she's improving! She is doing great with potty training, and has it down besides a random accident on rare occasion. This girl is suuuuuper food motivated, which has helped with training!  Leash | She is doing great!    Activity Level | Typical lab puppy. She plays hard then needs a nap.  She doesn't mind her crate at all - will go in on her own just to rest. Personality | She is such a sweetie!  Her personality seems to be easy going and very curious. She was pretty timid on day one, but quickly warmed up and now it is like she's always been part of our family. She is a cuddle-bug when she becomes comfortable with her surroundings. Her favorite thing is to snuggle up and get some belly rubs! She loves to play with our adult dog. She is pretty quiet for the most part, but will bark on occasion, especially if she sees something or someone new. She loves to eat, so training her with kibble and treats will easy.  Story | She came from Oklahoma with her three sisters, but we don't have much more information about her background. We cannot guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved.  Your application is good for 90 days from the time of approval for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.  show less
