Hazel is so sweet! She's a big floppy baby when she's tired, then switches on that playful loveable lab personality. She's curious, kind of goofy, and absolutely melts when you rub her tummy. She likes her crate and seeks it out when she needs to decompress. She seems to get a bit nervous with lots of noise or activity and will crawl in your lap or hide when she's overwhelmed. She's not fearful, she just needs a bit of reassurance until she gets used to a new situation. We've watched her confidence grow every day! She rides well in the car, and is content to go wherever you take her. She's done great with older and bigger dogs, she initiates play and reads cues well. This smarty pants loves to chase a ball, and has her favorite stuffed toys to cuddle with. She will quietly crawl in your lap and straight up steal your heart! General Notes | Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Health Notes | Healthy & Happy! , no issues in foster home so far Other Dogs | Yes! She's assertive but balanced, not aggressive or shy. Cats | Not sure as foster does not have. Children | Yes! She's a teething puppy with pointy teeth so will need to be watched with smaller children, she did great with kids age 11, 10 and 3! Training | Understands No and Come, working on consistently listening (she's a baby!) Today she learned how to "sit" with a treat reward in 2 sessions of about 5 minutes each. Check out the video! We always recomend that puppies (and dogs) take professional training. It is a great way for the pup and new owner to bond ;) Leash | Walked in the backyard with a leash and did well, so she's working on it! Activity Level | Probably going to be high energy, but able to settle down quickly. Personality | Hazel is so sweet!
