General Notes Butt wiggling, tail wagging Buddy is ready to meet his people! Looking for a 2nd pup? Good, because Buddy LOVES dogs & playing! Sweet, friendly, quiet, chill & calm, described this 100% Good boy! "What a great dog!", said his foster Mom. We think he's about 10 months old'ish... He loves, loves, loves people! He's a good natured pup, who is learning every day what it is to be safe & loved, and you can see that in his confidence which grows daily. We love you Buddy! Health Notes | Healthy & Happy! Other Dogs | Great with other dogs! He loves them! Cats | Children | Good with kids Training | Crate trained ✔️ Sleeps all night in crate without a peep ✔️ Willingly goes in his crate when I leave the house ✔️ Does not bark while I'm gone but barks to get out when he hears me come home (understandably, this boy wants to be with his people, let the good times roll!), said foster Mom. Buddy is totally potty trained and will come and get you/bark if he needs to go out ✔️ Knows sit, working on down and stay ✔️ All around, Buddy is a good boy! Leash | OK on leash with a little direction, which is a win for Lab! Activity Level | Medium Personality | Happy, happy, happy! Buddys tail is always going, what a wiggle butt! I do not think he spent much time indoors prior to Mile High taking him. He's learning about all the new sounds inside like washing machines, dishwashers, and fans. Story | Thank you! | Thank you for checking out Buddy's profile. I call him Buddy because he is going to be your little buddy :) He follows me around but is learning to be a little more independent. His favorite sleeping spot is a blanket next to my bed or his kennel. Again, he's a GOOD boy! Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $425 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $375 for 1-6 years, $325 for dogs 7-10 years, and $175 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $475. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog). Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page! We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for 90 days from the time of approval for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.
