General Notes | Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Harriet, oh sweet Harriet, Harry for short. This sweet pup is looking for a home that will give her lots of love and attention. She is a beautiful puppy who will become such a wonderful addition to any family! Health Notes | no health issues noted Other Dogs | loves other dogs, big or small, loud or quiet. She loves to meet other dogs and just wants to be involved in the action. She is not scared of the big dogs and is always trying to play with her 98lb foster sister lab. Cats | unknown Children | loves her foster human kids! Loves to chase them, snuggle with them and play tug-of-war with them Training | Very food motivated! Learning "sit" and "let's go!" She sleeps with her brother in a crate at night from about 10 or 11pm until 6:30am without a peep. She has learned to use her pee pad if she needs to in the middle of the night. She is working on potty training during the day and as long as she is taken out at least every two hours she has very few accidents in the house, and knows that when she is placed outside that is her time to potty. Leash | No leash training yet - it's just too cold and icy in Colorado right now! Activity Level | Puppy energy. Her longest streak of energy is typically first thing in the morning, but not any earlier than 6:30am, and she can only hang for about an hour and a half before she needs a nap. Throughout the day she'll play for about an hour and then take an hour or two nap, repeat until bedtime at 10pm. Personality | What puppy isn't happy! She is always excited to be around people and dogs. Story | Harriet was surrendered just weeks old with her six other siblings and her mom in Texas and moved up to Colorado. Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $425 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $375 for 1-6 years, $325 for dogs 7-10 years, and $175 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $475. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog). Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page! We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for 90 days from the time of approval for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.
