General Notes | As a blooming beauty, Blossom couldn't be more perfect! Her fosters say she is the sweetest girl who is smart, cuddly, gentle, and wonderful. She is great with dogs, people, and even the neighbor's kitty! She can't wait to find her family in Colorado. Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Personality | Blossom is adventurous, cuddly, curious, and sweet as they come. His foster family is still getting to know her, but thinks she has the most wonderful lab demeanor. Blossom likes to explore, get toys, play with her foster siblings and chase them around the house, play tug, and is happiest passed out on the couch in the lap of her foster mom, or curled up at the feet of her foster dad while he works!  Story | Blossom was rescued with her nine (!!) siblings and mama days after her mom gave birth on the streets in Houston, TX. A concerned citizen noticed their pregnant mama Honey, and immediately put out a plea for rescue. MHLM jumped into action, and a dedicated foster drove over four hours and searched for the family in order to save them. Since her rescue, she has been in a foster home in Houston before recently making her way to Colorado!  Other Dogs | Blossom currently resides with a lab foster brother, and two little dog foster siblings (whom she adores and follows around endlessly). She's great with dogs of all sizes, and is learning to follow their lead and their cues. The smaller dogs in her foster home are quite bossy, but she doesn't mind! She is passive with them and gives them space when they need it, but will snuggle in when they allow it.  Cats | Blossom has only met one cat and was curious and kind. She was gentle, and gave the kitty space as they warmed up to each other. Her fosters think she would do great with a kitty sibling.  Children | Blossom loves little humans of all ages and sizes! She adored the grandchildren of her Houston foster, did amazing at puppy yoga, and she would be awesome with kiddos of all ages as long as they are gentle and kind.  Training | Blossom's training is in progress! This sweet girl is getting the hang of potty training, and sleeps in her crate through the night! She is working on sit, and spending time in her crate independently (being little and alone is hard!)  Leash | Blossom is too little for leash walking currently, but she LOVES to ride in a baby bjorn pouch on family walks around the neighborhood. She couldn't be cuter or more observant!  Activity Level | Moderate. Blossom loves to play, sleep, cuddle, and then play more! She is adventurous, but happy to snuggle in.  Health Notes |  Thank you! |  Adoption Donations |  Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. General Notes | Meet Lotto! This handsome puppy is ready to hit the Colorado jackpot of adventure! With his boundless energy and curious spirit, Lotto dreams of exploring the Rocky Mountains, chasing squirrels in Denver parks, and maybe even trying out some puppy paddleboarding on a clear mountain lake. He's looking for a forever family ready to share all the Centennial State has to offer with a loyal and enthusiastic companion. Story | Lotto and his six siblings and mama were found outside of Conroe, Texas in a relatively ferral state - with mama being nearly untouchable, and the babies being new to the earth! They spent the first six weeks of their life in a crowded shelter before Mile High Lab Mission pulled the family, and now all are learning and adjusting to living and being in a home! It's been a scary and long road for this crew, but they are learning fast, being adaptable, and getting all the love! Other Dogs | Lotto does well with other dogs. Children | Lotto is learning about love from children! He would be happy to have kiddos to play with and dote on, as long as they are respectful and kind.  Training | Lotto's training is in progress! He is still a puppy, so he is working on potty training, crate training, and basic commands.  That being said, he is exceptionally food motivated and eager to please.  He picked up "sit" in just a few days and generally sleeps quietly in his crate when his foster family is away (or working from home).    Leash | Lotto isn't walking on a leash quite yet, but hopefully soon! Activity Level | Moderate - your basic lab puppy! Health Notes | He's been in a loving foster home for a few weeks now and is looking so much healthier and full of life! She loves being near people and will happily follow you from room to room, quietly lying at your feet or resting her head in your lap for some extra cuddles. She is getting used to the sounds and rhythms of home life - stairs, toys, cozy beds and endless affection. Story | Tilly was surrendered by a breeder in Missouri.  Other Dogs | Tilly is loving being a single dog right now, as she's always been surrounded by and in competition with other breeder dogs. Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   General Notes |  Blitzen is new to the world, but not new to stealing hearts! This little man is as cute as they come, and is going to make the world's best adventure and snuggle buddy. He is sweet, curious, and adapts well to new environments! Blitzen currently resides with a big lab foster brother and a kitty foster brother. He's great with dogs of all sizes, and is learning to follow their lead and their cues. He does well in playing, and with nap time, consistently rotating between the two. Blitzen is as snuggly as they come, and loves to snuggle with both his foster parents and furry foster siblings. He adores small kiddos, and would be happy to have a family that likes cuddles, too! He has the softest, fluffy coat which makes for the best cuddling buddy!  Personality | Blitzen is sweet and playful. His foster family is still getting to know him, but thinks he has a pretty mellow demeanor, outside of typical puppy shenanigans! He enjoys chewing on soft and hard toys on your lap and then taking a long nap, also on your lap! He's independent enough to keep himself occupied with toys, but prefers the humans being nearby! His ideal place is laying by your feet or on your lap with a toy!  Story | Blitzen and his 10 siblings and mama were pulled from a high kill shelter in TX, and brought to Colorado in December! Donner is still very young, and is learning how to be a dog.  He's spent most of his life in a foster home and is well socialized! Other Dogs | Blitzen does great with both big and small dogs, and is playful but respectful! He picks up on doggy social cues and has been good about giving his grumpy, 8 year old foster brother plenty of space! He likes to snuggle, follows his foster siblings around, and entices them in play all the time! He sometimes get scared of big dogs when he first meets them, but it doesn't take long for him to start zooming around to get them to play with him! Cats | Blitzen is being fostered with a cat and is doing great. He mostly leaves the kitty alone and doesn't get in his space. He does occasionally want to play with the kitty and his foster family is teaching him to leave the kitty alone! His fosters think he would do great with a kitty sibling.  Children | Blitzen loves little humans! He would be awesome with kiddos of all ages as long as they are gentle and kind.  Training | Blitzen's training is in progress. He's working on potty training, basic commands, and is also sleeping in a crate at night and throughout the day! He's close to being potty trained and mostly goes outside now! He's also learning it's okay to be alone in his crate and is getting more and more comfortable being by himself everyday! He is extremely treat motivated so training has been a breeze! He learned the "sit" command in about 15 minutes and also figured out how to get all the treats out of his puzzle toy the first time! He knows "come" and is now learning how to bring the ball back when it's thrown. He's a smart little guy and would love a family to continue teaching him how to be a dog! General Notes |  Yeager is new to Colorado, but not new to stealing hearts! This little pup is as cute as they come, and is going to make the world's best adventure and cuddle buddy for the perfect Colorado person or family. He is sweet, curious, and adapts well to new environments! He is (not so secretly) a foster favorite, and couldn't be more adoring, choosing to spend all his time by his family's side.  Yeager currently resides with a big lab foster brother, and two little dog foster siblings. He's great with dogs of all sizes, and is learning to follow their lead and their cues. He has met the neighbor’s cat and was curious but unbothered.  He does well in playing, with nap time, and even during independent time in the crate.  Yeager is as fluffy and snuggly as they come, and loves to snuggle with both his foster parents and furry foster siblings. He adores small kiddos, and would be happy to have a family that likes cuddles (and lets him curl up on the bed), too!  Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Personality | Yeager is sweet and playful. His foster family is still getting to know him, but thinks he has a pretty mellow demeanor, outside of typical puppy shenanigans! He likes to explore, is learning what he can and cannot chew on, and is receptive to redirection from his foster parents.  Story | Yeager and his six siblings were pulled from a high kill shelter in TX, and brought to Colorado in January! Yeager is still very young, and is learning how to be a dog in CO. He’s not so sure about the cold weather, but is adapting and enjoying time in the Colorado sunshine!  Other Dogs | Yeager does great with both big and small dogs, and is playful but respectful! When his Chihuahua foster siblings growl or set the tone, he rolls over or walks away. He is great at reading the room, and knowing their boundaries. He likes to snuggle, follows his foster siblings around, and entices them in play.  Cats | Yeager has only met one cat and was curious. His fosters think he would do great with a kitty sibling.  Children | Yeager loves little humans of all ages and sizes! He would be awesome with kiddos of all ages as long as they are gentle and kind. He will need continuous training as he grows.  Training | Yeager’s training is in progress. He's working on potty training, basic commands, and is also sleeping in a crate at night and throughout the day! He has already learned sit, is walking on a leash, and follows his foster sibling’s cues for additional rules around the house.  Leash | Yeager is learning about leash walking with his fosters, and will work on it more as he gets bigger. He likes the leash right now, and thinks it's a blast to trot along next to his foster siblings.  Activity Level | Moderate - typical puppy energy but loves to play, sleep, and play some more! He really is a pocket pal, and will hang wherever his people are. Health Notes |  Thank you! |  Adoption Donations |  Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. General Notes | If you're looking for a dog who's mastered the finesse of the snort, the gentle art of the slobber, and the undeniable charm of a flat face, then Finn just might be your guy. This handsome pug is excited for Colorado, where he's heard he'll actually be able to breathe freely and might even retire his constant panting. Above all else, Finn is thrilled to find the comfort and love of a family he can call his very own! Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Personality | Finn is pure pug charm: loyal, a bit silly, and wonderfully cuddly. Story | Finn was pulled from a high-kill shelter in Galveston, TX. This little pug is eager to trade long, sweaty Texas days for crisp Colorado evenings and happy outdoor strolls. Other Dogs | Good with other dogs.  Cats | Finn hasn't been cat tested yet. Since he's practically the same size and just as good at napping, we think Finn would do just fine with a kitty companion. Children | Finn's perfectly lap-sized for kids, making him an instant best friend for cozy cuddles and story time. Training | In progress.  Leash | In progress.  Activity Level | Very low energy for a lab ;) Health Notes | Finn was recently neutered and is now ready for the good life in Colorado! Thank you! |  Adoption Donations |  Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age.
