General Notes |  Heath/Keith is new to the world, but not new to stealing hearts! This little man is as cute as they come, and is going to make the world's best adventure and snuggle buddy. He is sweet, curious, and adapts well to new environments! Keith currently resides with a big lab foster brother, and two little dog foster siblings. He's great with dogs of all sizes, and is learning to follow their lead and their cues. He does well in playing, and with nap time, consistently rotating between the two.  Keith is as snuggly as they come, and loves to snuggle with both his foster parents and furry foster siblings. He adores small kiddos, and would be happy to have a family that likes cuddles, too!  Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Personality | Keith is sweet and playful. His foster family is still getting to know him, but thinks he has a pretty mellow demeanor, outside of typical puppy shenanigans!  Story | Keith and his two siblings and mama were pulled from a high kill shelter in TX, and brought to Colorado in December! Keith is still very young, and is learning how to be a dog. Other Dogs | Keith does great with both big and small dogs, and is playful but respectful! He likes to snuggle, follows his foster siblings around, and entices them in play all the time! Cats | Keith has only met one cat and was curious. His fosters think he would do great with a kitty sibling.  Children | Keith loves little humans! He would be awesome with kiddos of all ages as long as they are gentle and kind.  Training | Keith's training is in progress. He's working on potty training, basic commands, and is also sleeping in a crate at night and throughout the day!  Leash | Keith is too little for leash training currently, but will work on it as he gets bigger.  Activity Level | Moderate Health Notes |  Thank you! |  Adoption Donations |  Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. General Notes | Looking for cuddly and sweet? Gary can’t be beat! This guy is like winning the puppy lotto - he’s smart, self aware and LOVES to be near his people. He's happiest in his foster parent's arms, or curled up in their laps! Gary is great with all sizes of dogs (from his chihuahua foster sister to his big lab foster brother, he loves them all). Gary has also met and done well with cats, kids, and all types of people. Gary is respectful but playful with his foster siblings (following their lead and listening to their cues) and is doing great with training.  Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Personality | Gary is laid back, curious and inquisitive, and so, so sweet. He's a pocket pal, and will make a great adventure buddy one day - whether that's hanging at breweries or hiking 14ers! Story | Gary, his mom, and his seven siblings were rescued from the streets in Texas. They made their way to Colorado by van, and are now 10 weeks old and ready for adoption! The finder loved mama so much he decided to keep her ❤️  Other Dogs | Gary does exceptionally well with other dogs - he follows their lead and will play if encouraged to, but respects their boundaries, and keeps his distance if they don't want to engage. He LOVES his big lab foster brother, and follows him around the house! He is also sweet with the two small dogs in his foster home, sneaking close to them when they allow it.  Cats | Gary has met the cat, and is curious, but gives space. His fosters think he'd do great with a kitty friend.  Children | Gary LOVES tiny humans! He'd be happy to have one (or a few) kiddos to play and chase and snuggle with. He's gentle with his mouth (no land shark here!!) and is learning not to jump.  Training | Gary's training is in progress. He knows sit, and is 92.736% potty trained (no accidents in his foster's home in CO!!). He is working on crate training, and is a great sleeper.  Leash | Gary isn't too sure about this whole leash walking thing yet, but is learning!  Activity Level | Moderate Health Notes |  Thank you! |  Adoption Donations |  Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. General Notes | Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Personality | Sweet, Gentle, Playful with high level of Energy, Not agressive at all. Not food motivated.  Story | Meet Ranger, the only stud you'll ever need! This 7-year-old Labrador comes from a breeder in northern Colorado, where he trained as a pointer and bird dog, earning multiple awards in show and agility. Now retired from his stud duties, Ranger is ready to find his forever family and settle into a life of love, play, and relaxation. Ranger recently experienced living indoors for the first time, and he's adapted beautifully. He’s become quite fond of his crate, using it as his go-to spot for rest or when he wants some downtime. Potty training has been going well too—Ranger has a charming habit of spinning in circles by the door to let you know he needs to go outside. Despite his age, Ranger is an active and lively companion. He enjoys 3-4 walks a day, ranging from 20 minutes to an hour, and is excellent on a leash. He only pulls when an interesting scent catches his attention! Ranger is polite when meeting new people, always sitting to say hello. He's generally good with dogs, though he prefers to avoid dominant ones and isn’t fond of meeting females in heat. Ranger would do best in an active home with a yard where he can run around and play. He knows commands like sit, up, down, stay, heel, and fetch, and is currently learning “lay down.” Interestingly for a Lab, Ranger isn’t food motivated, so counter-surfing won’t be an issue. If you’re looking for a sweet, well-trained, and loyal Labrador to join your family, Ranger is the perfect match! Other Dogs | Great with other dogs he has met so far, tends to sway away from puppies.  Cats | Unkown Children | Ranger is great with kids aged 3 and up. As an energetic and playful Labrador, he doesn’t quite realize his size, so he might accidentally bump into younger children. Older kids who can match his energy and enjoy an active, playful dog would likely be the best fit for him. Training | Super smart, trained as a pointer and bird dog, has learned heel and stay very well. Currently working on laydown.  Leash | Ranger is doing great on a leash, he only pulls when he sees a squirrel or picks up a sent.  Activity Level | Ranger is a medium level active dog, he loves going on hikes, swimming, and playing fetch. His normal day consist of 2-3 walks a day. On average his schedule with his fosters have been a 30 minute in the morning, an hour walk in the evenings and one or two 20 minute walks in the afternoon. When he is inside he magically turns into the biggest couch potato and just stretches near you and falls a sleep.  Health Notes | Healthy! Ranger is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm NEGATIVE!  Thank you! Personality | Hi there! I'm Dexter, or Donut, or honestly, anything you want to call me as long as you have food for me! I'm a healthy, happy, and active puppy so am still learning the ropes when it comes to commands and what is expected of me. I will say I have mastered the art of napping soundly while my humans work from home though, so I'm on the right track! I am a sweet guy looking for a home and humans that will help me with my training, help me burn off some puppy energy in a large yard, and help me develop into the dog I'm meant to be. A home with other dogs would be so beneficial to me (and you!) as well, as I take my cues from them and learn what to or not to do to! Other Dogs | Yes please! I'm a social guy, and did wonderfully with my TX foster and her pack of dogs! When I have something separating me from other dogs I can get confused and reactive, which is very common when coming from a situation/life where I never had anything preventing me from being able to say hello. I do get anxious when a fence or leash separates me from other potential dog friends, and would benefit greatly from an adopter with calming energy willing to work with me on this.  Cats | I haven't spent much time around cats to be fair, but I do like to chase things that are small and fast when outside so I may not be the best roomie for a cat if you have one. Children | I'm currently living with 4yr old twins and do wonderfully with them. I'm very gentle and try hard to not play too rough. I am still a puppy though so do nip and nibble when I get excited! Training | I am eager to please and will do so well once I have some structure and consistency with my training. When I came to CO I was a very blank slate, so I do need help with the basics. I pick things up quickly and just need consistency. And food. Food helps. Big fan of that! Leash | This is very new to me and I've not yet mastered what is expected of me here. I pull and can be vocal, but this is all very fixable.  Activity Level | Active. Don't get me wrong, I love a good nap and I'm a great sleeper. But, I love to play and want to please so love to be around my humans entertaining them! I would do best in a yard with a high fence. I also love toys, puzzles, games, you name it, to help stimulate my developing brain. I love anything I can chew on - this can keep me busy for awhile if you need to ever not have me act as your shadow (which, I don't know why you'd not want, but still...) Health Notes | I'm healthy and up to date on all my vaccines! Thank you! |  Adoption Donations |  Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. General Notes | Want to adopt this dog? Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.   Belle is as sweet as they come, a gentle giant and gorgeous lady inside and out!  She's good with other dogs and kids, easy on the leash, or off-leash in a field, does her business outside, and loves to cuddle and give kisses.  When we saved her, she may have resembled a naked mole rat 😬 but she is improving and prettier every day.  Belle is big, goofy, happy, and wiggly, like all Labs should be. This special lady will bring you so much joy and love.  See Belle's wiggles: https://youtube.com/shorts/24T41ph-FRI?feature=share Story | Belle was surrendered to a rural shelter by her owners. They stated they could no longer care for her. Other Dogs | Great, Belle has met other dogs on and off-leash. She is friendly, playful, and respectful. She will do great in a home with or without other dogs. Cats | Unknown. Children | Friendly! Belle has lived in a home with young children. She is gentle and kind to them.  Training | She knows basic commands like sit, paw and down. She is eager to please! Sometimes too eager and forgets the command given 😂 She'd love an adopter that will sharpen her skills with consistent training.  Leash | Belle walks nicely on leash. She is not afraid of it and enjoys going out for walks.  Activity Level | Medium. Belle is an energetic Lab that enjoys regular exercise and socialization. She understands when it is time to settle down and gladly takes a nap on a dog bed (or the couch 😉). She will benefit from an active lifestyle that keeps her engaged and busy! Health Notes | Belle is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm NEGATIVE! Belle appears to be dealing with some skin allergies. The good news though, is that Belle has already started treatment for both of those things, and she is on a limited ingredient food, and she is already improving! Thank you! |  Adoption Donations |  Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age.
