Meet the beautiful Miss Sake! Sake is an almost 5 month old German Shepherd mix girl with a stunning coat. Weighing in at 38 pounds she is the big sister to Soju. Sake is a smart, outgoing girl that like to welcome her people home! Her favorite place to be is laying at your feet. Sake is crate trained and is great about going in at bedtime to get her beauty sleep. Her outgoing nature welcomes all new comers including children. She is really so calm for a puppy! She loves to curl up on your lap to take naps and to watch tv with her humans. She is a very people orinatated pup and loves to be around her humans. She knows a couple basic commands and is abount 90% potty trained. Rey is a very smart girl and is treat motivated, training will both be fun for her and her new adopter. She sleeps all night in her crate with no accidents. She gets along great with other dogs and loves to play! We believe she is cat workable being her age, and no signs of prey drive. She is doing great with children in the house as well. Colt is a ten week old Shepherd and Husky mix, otherwise known as a shepsky. Colt was found along with his siblings in an open field in San Joaquin County. It appears the four puppies were left to fend for themselves. Colt has not been exposed to much in his short life. We are hoping for Colt to be in a home with another dog as our rescue believes in socializing all of our dogs in the program. Colt is learning to be house trained, crate trained and he has received the first series of his vaccinations. Colt is currently in the home with two older labs and he is learning about living and meeting other dogs. Meet Mama Maddy! Mama was found wondering in an area where many dogs are dumped. She was left there for about 2 years a local farmer told us. When she was brought into the rescue she was so defeated and shut down we knew it would take her time to decompress. She has made a complete turnaround. Her eyes are happy and soul shines so bright now! Mama, has been the sweetest, most mellow and low maintenance dog ever. She came into our home feeling unsure about herself and unsure if it was okay to be inside the house but with a little encouragement she quickly made herself at home and picked out the most comfortable spots in the house, the couch and my son’s bed, Ha! :D She has been great with my 4 year old boy as well as with our cat. She is non reactive to dogs, people or anything really. She seems to be attracted to smaller dogs or dogs her own size, and females but very submissive to male dogs. She walks great on leash, likes to explore, however does not have the best recall manners but I think that will come with time as she gets used to having a human of her own. She is also a little bit of a food thief if left unattended but she is a quick learner so with love and patience this can be worked on. Overall, the best mama ever! She has very little prey drive, so we believe she is cat workable. Meet Leia! Leia is an adorable pup with tons of personality! She is approximotly 10 weeks old. She came into rescue a little beat up but is quickly learning dogs and humans can be nice. She is sleeping well in her crate throughout the night and for naps during the day. She is about 90% potty trained and will go to the back door when she needs out. Leia knows sit, here, and is working on other basic commands. She is a very smart girl and loves to please. Her favorite spot to be is right next to her foster Mama wherever that may be, lounging on the couch or doing chores! She is very loyal! Even though the lab is much larger Simon has not figured out he is much smaller and he is a worthy advisary to his big buddy. Simon is learning to be house traiined as well as being crate trained. This little boy is the largest of the white puppies, but one of the most shy of the dogs. He watches from a far but does warm up and wants to be a part of the party. Odin, a 9 month old GSD mix. Odin came from the San Francisco shelter. This sweet, energetic boy has lived most of his life in the shelter. Odin is fully vaccinated and neutered. He does need a family who can love him and provide him with consistency. Btw, thank you to Mike Clausen from Golden State German Shepherd Rescue for facilitating this rescue. Always good when rescues work together! Odin is coming out of a board and train! He is a fully trained boy! Very smart boy! We can not stress enough, learn your breeds. Rue is our female, 7 month old Belgian Malinois. Her story was that she found wondering around a Walmart parking lot and brought to the shelter. Rue is in a foster home, enjoying the play and company of her 5 four legged foster companions. She is learning to walk well on leash, jumps into her foster mom’s SUV and goes right into her crate for car rides. She is doing excellent with her potty training and sleeps well in her crate all night. Rue has great ball drive and very treat motivated so is very fun and eager to train. She also might do great with nose work. She also goes to play day once a week with her foster mom’s dog trainer where she hangs out with many different dogs. Rue can be a little aloof on first meeting but warms up quickly. She truly tries to please and loves to cuddle with her foster mom in the evenings. Rue is going to make a great, fun and loyal companion. Rue is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all of her shots.
