Amore one of four puppies that were part of a bottle fed litter. Abandoned with no mama with in hours of their birth, the umbilical cord was still attached. Fostered by a surrogate mama, Dixie, these pups have been well cared for and loved. Amore is just like his name suggests, he is a lovable boy with lots of cuddles and kisses to give. Amore is the quieter one in his litter. While the rest are running, leaping and getting into mischeif, Amore can be found curled up taking a restful nap or just observing the shenanigans. This little guy absolutely wants to be attached to his human whenever possible. He loves his cuddle time. Amore wears his heart in his eyes. One blue and one heterochromic, he is absolutley stunning to look at. His sweet face will melt your heart and inspire instant happiness. Amore is pad trained currently but will begin outdoor potty training soon. He sleeps well in his crate at night with all of his soft blankets and stuffed animals. show less

Meet Levi! I dare you not to swoon over his dreamy soft brown eyes! This guy has a story to tell that will warm your whole heart. Levi was found by a good samaritan when he was about 7 weeks old in an orchard with his mom and two brothers. They were taken to the shelter and a calpaws volunteer went very quickly to assess them, only to find that they had all adopted out quickly! Levi was so scared. He had never been around humans before, as he was likely born in that orchard. His original adopter decided that he was not a good fit with her two small senior dogs and took to facebook to rehome him. Wouldnt ya know, that same calpaws volunteer saw his posting! Levi has been in foster with calpaws for about 10 days. In that time, with the help of the resident pack, he has bloomed into a happy and playful puppy! Levi would not do well living in a home with no other dogs. When he is scared or unsure, he looks to them for guidance. Levi is quickly becoming acclimated to human touch, even snuggling with his foster mom in bed at night. He is crate trained , but not a huge fan of it. This could be trauma from being seperated from his mom and siblings at the shelter. No doubt that a gentle touch and positive reinforcement will cure this fear. He easily crates for meal time and is about 90% house broken. This guy is oh-so-special and is looking for his forever family! He will need somewhere with space to play , and would likely do best in a home without small children. Loud noises can be scary! Please apply for Levi if you are interested. Get connected with his foster mom to learn more about this super sweet boy. show less

This little guy is as smart as they come—he’s already learned his name, how to sit, and even how to come when called. Smit is incredibly sweet and loves to show affection by licking your hand when he wants to nibble, but he’s quickly learning his boundaries. While he’s still working on perfecting his puppy manners (like not using those sharp little teeth!), Smit is a quick learner and very eager to please. He’s also been a champ with crate training, having settled in quickly after a little encouragement. Smit is looking for a loving home where he can continue to grow, learn, and fill your life with puppy joy. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate companion who’s ready to learn, Smit might just be the perfect fit! show less

Monty was rescued from a neglectful situation, but given his sweet, friendly disposition- you would never know he had an unloved start to life. He is neutered, crate trained, friendly with adults. fantastic with kids/toddlers, and great with other dogs. He still has some puppy energy but without the house breaking, he is house trained! He loves to snuggle, knows "sit" "down" "shake: and "stay" as he is a very VERY good boy. We can't think of one negative thing to say about Monty, he is one of the good ones and will make a wonderful addition to most homes. show less

Carroll Shelby (Shelby for short) is one of four girls in a five puppy litter. She is a sweet girl who loves to run and play. She is the cuddler puppy in the litter. She does not mind playing by herself but loves to wrestle with her siblings. She enjoys sniffing around the yard, chewing on toys and laying on the outside couch and pillows. She is working on car rides in the crate and loves to look around when they are out and about in the shopping cart. Shelby is very smart and loves to dig and pull at the turf in the play area. When Shelby has finally tired herself out, she heads right to the bed in the crate. She has found her bark but does not use it often. She does do some whining and a small howl when she is awake and ready to get up to pee but is usually the last to get up. Shelby is working on potty training outside only and alerting at the door. However, she does mostly use a pee pad when she does not alert. Crate training to be in the crate by herself is the next progression she will be working on. Shelby does sleep in the crate overnight with her siblings currently. The foster family is also working on leash training so that it will hopefully be an easy transition in her fur-ever home. She is very gentle and has always been interested in being picked up and loved by her foster family which includes a 3 year old. She is very patient with the 3 year old and likes to follow her around. She loves to greet her when she gets home from school and will try to beat her siblings to be patted first. She really enjoys checking on the 3 month old baby when she is crying or making noises. She loves to give sweet kisses and jump to be picked up. She loves to be tucked into a blanket and just relax once she has worn herself out. She is very curious of the foster families 13 year old small dog and is submissive to her. Shelby will do best with a family that is active and can spend lots of time working with her. She loves to be outside and exploring. She would love to have as many working jobs as possible. But best that she has at least one active job to keep her busy. She will love to have tons of places to explore and run. Being Fostered in Petaluma, CA show less

Looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s always up for an adventure? Meet Dolly, a 3-year-old bundle of joy who’s ready to bring a whole lot of love into your life! Dolly is a true people pup—she adores humans of all ages, including older kids, and has a heart as big as her smile. She’s happiest by your side, whether it’s lounging on the couch, splashing in the water (she’s a big fan of pool and lake days!), or going for walks to explore the world together. Not only is Dolly sweet, but she’s also smart! She’s a fast learner with basic training already under her collar. She’s crate trained, and eager to keep learning and make you proud. While Dolly would thrive as the only dog in the home, she’s selective about her doggy friends and enjoys playdates with her chosen canine pals. Cats, however, are not her cup of tea—she’s more of a “dog-only zone” kind of girl. Dolly is looking for a family who will love her for the amazing, affectionate companion she is. In return, she promises unconditional love, loyalty, and lots of tail wags. show less

Eleanor is one of four girls in a five puppy litter. She is a sweet girl who loves to run and play. She is the smallest puppy in the litter. She was picked on in the beginning by her siblings a lot but recently has come out of her shell and no has become more vocal about how they treat her. She does not mind playing by herself but loves to wrestle with her siblings now that they are easier on her. She enjoys sniffing around the yard, chewing on toys and laying in the sun. She is working on car rides in the crate and loves to look around when they are out and about in the shopping cart. Eleanor is very smart and loves to dig and pull at the turf in the play area. When Eleanor has finally tired herself out, she enjoys tucking into the foster families 13 year old small dog’s bed. She will go into the crate but isn’t typically willing to do it on her own just yet. She has found her bark and enjoys showing it off. She is the resident howler when she is awake and ready to get up to pee or if she is not happy with your choices. Eleanor is working on potty training outside only and alerting at the door. However, she does mostly use a pee pad by the door when she does not alert. Crate training to be in the crate by herself is the next progression she will be working on. Eleanor does sleep in the crate overnight with her siblings currently. The foster family is also working on leash training so that it will hopefully be an easy transition in her fur-ever home. She can be a little rough but is working on being more gentle with her foster parents. She loves to be picked up and loved on by her foster family. She enjoys acting like a cat and being on her foster Dad’s shoulder. She is very interested in giving kisses and nibbling. She is very patient with the foster families 3 year old and likes to follow her around and runs to her when she comes home from school. Kiko is a lover. He loves to snuggle and be close with his family. Kiko is a lover of all people. He has never shown aggression toward any person. He is a bit excited to see people so he sometimes can be a little extra for very young kids and old adults. He wants to have a partner in life to spend all his time with. He really loves snuggling under blankets with his human, playing tug, chewing his bones and most of all playing fetch with his ball. He is excited to go on walks and explore, but could use more practice on his leash. He is the fastest runner and loves to run whenever he can. He is looking for a human that can keep up with all his energy and give him the companionship he deserves. He has so much love to give. He does well with cats and has lived with other dogs in the past. This Love Bug is aprx 4 yrs old. Adoption fees: Dogs over 1 and under 6 years old: $400 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip.
