Kittle and his brother Deebo are the calmest, sweetest snuggle bugs! almost 4 months old, neutered and vaccinated, ready for a forever homes! Kittle is almost completely potty trained, loves to sleep in the crate at night or for short periods if you have to leave the house. Loves to meet all new people, kids and dogs. Despite  being young he is very dog savvy, respectful of the older dogs and eager to please. Both pups do not seem to have much prey drive - they are confident and curious but uninterested in our chickens or the wild animals around our house. They do like to alert bark when people walk by the house - they are typical German shepherds letting us know to be on alert but then listen when we tell them “it’s ok”. They are super happy and easy going pups!  Kittle is slightly petite and refined looking, a thinner delicate muzzle. He is the most food motivated and first to remind us that it’s breakfast lunch or dinner time by sitting at the door! He is a rascal, will find a tag on your shirt or a piece of something that needs to be chewed on. He is eager to please and will listen attentively when called. He is the first to initiate play with the others but also loves to sleep and knows when it’s quiet time. Kittle enjoys being held like a baby, but not sure for how long as he’s growing fast!  Adoption fees: Puppies: 0-1yr $450.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Lastly, we spay or neuter each of our dogs. The spay or neuter of these puppies will happen at 4-5 months of age.  Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. It should be noted that our adoption counselors know the dogs and can best guide any possible adopter with a suitable match. Please visit https://www.calpaws.org/available-dogs for the adoption application! We are always in need of experienced fosters for the amount of dogs we have coming in. Being a foster is such a rewarding experience. If you are interested please review https://www.calpaws.org/fostering show less

This “little” boy was a owner surrender from a accidental litter. He was initially terrified but after a short time spent decompressing and getting lots of love and attention, he’s feeling much more confident and trusting. Kona is going to be a very big boy, but what a gentle giant he is! He enjoys playing with his foster pups but is always keeping his eyes peeled for where his foster moms are. He loves to cuddle, is housebroken and neutered. Kona is a smart pup and sits beautifully. He’s learning to be chicken friendly so can likely learn to respect cats. Besides his boyish good looks, he’s got a heart of gold and will make a fabulous addition to any family. Duke!! This guy is a clown who loves kids and is learning to play well with other dogs. While he does wander around the house, as soon as I call his name he is by my side within moments. I often find him collecting the socks, and objects I leave on the floor, and as soon as I ask him to put them down he obliges without any arguments or chase! He’s breaking out of his shell, and becoming incredibly playful at the park with other dogs. When I go to bed, he lays on the floor by my side the entire night. Duke is gentle with people, children, and our cats. Adoption fees: Adult  dogs: 1-6 years $400.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Mio and his sister Gadget were 6 months when we rescued them from the local shelter. From timid and scared at the shelter, Mio quickly transformed into a tail-wagging ball of energy, melting to the human touch and willing to do anything for his human. Just a week later, Mio is your typical happy puppy (with an extra dollop of love) - he adores going on walks to the park, running around the backyard, eating - lots, sleeping, chewing stuff (toys or bones are his foster mom’s favorites), following his selected human around like a shadow. Mio is extremely food-motivated and a determined pleaser, he is progressing well in his house training but will continue to need guidance and supervision. Mio is the perfect age for a puppy manners class, he would greatly benefit from learning the right ways to get treats and make his human happy. Mio is fostered in the house with an active older dog, who Mio adores and tries to copy. Besides playing “no touch tag” with his foster bro, Mio also beats him at dog puzzles. Mio is a very smart pup! He loves to show it off and to be stimulated and challenged. When you meet him though, first thing you notice are the sweet floppy ears, cutest forehead wrinkles, constantly wagging tail and his lovable puppy clumsiness. Mio is about 30 lbs now and will keep growing to maybe 45-50 lbs. He does not seem to care for baths, but might enjoy them more with the right kind of motivation. Mio is crate trained, happily sleeps there at night and naps during the day. Mio is sharing his foster home with 2 cats, he is curious towards them but not aggressive. Mio will do best in a home with human presence during the day. He loves people and learning new things. He has so much more to learn and is oh-so-eager!  Adoption fees: Puppies: 0-1yr $450.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. Cleo, short for Cleopatra, she is a very assertive, petite piebald husky and definitely a Diva! She is vocal, but very much a sweetheart.  She is full of smiles and body wags and she prances around showing anyone who cares to see her beauty. She has big energy and an endless supply of loyalty for her people. She’s incredibly clever. She has basic manners (sit, down, off). She is house trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She is exposed daily to numerous children, dogs (big and small, old and young) and cats. Her resilience is impressive! She can play for what seems like an eternity with the other dogs but she can also snuggle right into you and would love to give you kisses.  She will need a husky familiar home that can match her spunky spirit and hopefully a dog buddy  to share her sassy Husky ways with. She has endless loyalty and the drive to please her family!  If you need a little husky in your life, Cleo is your gal!  Adoption fees: Adults: 1-6yr $400.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. I'm Quinn, the Queensland cutie. I'm a totally chill, super sweet girl approximately 4 to 5 years of age who likes to hang out with her favorite peeps.  I’m medium in size (only 41 pounds), but I'm “BIG” into feeling cozy so my foster mama who saved me from being all alone in an orchard made me my own special den inside her home, which I'm so thankful to have and it's BIG in size too......like having my own studio. I like to hit the town walking whether it be downtown at coffee shops, public parks, neighborhoods or country settings.  I also love meeting new K9 fur friends, however I'm not so sure yet of the other fur felines.  I'm learning to enjoy smelling the flowers, love love getting lots of belly rubs oh and love kisses too.  If you love affection and want me to lay my head in your lap while watching TV, please hit me up as I don't necessarily need to be on a ranch.  I’m really enjoying the indoor home life.  I can make you as happy as you can make me, so LET’S DO THIS!!!  Adopt me and I will love you like no other. Adults: 1-6yr $4o0.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Captain Hook came to us at 2-3 weeks old after being rejected by his momma. He came to us with only 2 toes on one of his front paws, we aren’t sure if this was an injury or a birth defect. After putting him with another older litter to learn some puppy ways, he began running, jumping and playing! He has gotten a clean bill of health with no noticeable limitations despite the missing toes. Captain Hook is a confident, adventurous young pup, good with other dogs of all sizes and loves kids. He is 100% food motivated and a very smart boy. He is a stunning, 4 month old boy with a bottle baby attitude (if you know, you know) and requires a breed experienced, active home that accepts him with his quirks and all of his perfect imperfections. Adoption fees: Puppies: 0-1yr $450.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip.
