Louie is our very handsome pin-up poster boy! We think he’s very photogenic, loves to strike a pose! He’s a goofy sweet boy that will follow you around like a shadow and loves to get snuggles. He also loves a good game of fetch! He gets along beautifully with his foster siblings and even the resident cat and chickens. He is curious and smart and very food motivated. He’s learned sit, down, leave it and in just a week has learned many manners and crate training. show less

If you're looking for a loyal companion who's happiest by your side, look no further than Milo. This sweet, snuggly boy thrives on being included in family life—whether that means curling up for cuddles, joining you for daily walks, or showing off his toy collection one by one. Milo is full of personality and has a playful side. He loves chasing tennis balls, chewing on his Nylabones, and keeping a close eye on the backyard squirrels. He's also a fan of treats (baby carrots are a fave!) and enjoys the occasional bite of meat or fish as a special snack. Milo is a smarter pants too. He completed high level board and training at RFRD Adacemdy in San Jose. He walks well on a prong, is e-collar trained, knows commands like sit, down, place, heel, shake, and staying calm around other dogs. On walks he may sometimes need a little prong pop to remember his traing (we'll show you how) but with little effort he is back on track. Milo is house- and car-mannered, and he’s eager to please and smart enough to keep learning. Milo loves attetion and we think he would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He hasn’t been around many young children but loves the teenage children in his foster home. His ideal home includes a backyard, daily walks or hikes, and most of all—a person or family to love him as much as he’ll love them. show less

Meet Bailey! 🐾 Bailey is a stunning 15-month-old Belgian Malinois with a heart full of love and energy to match. Smart, loyal, and incredibly eager to learn, she’s the kind of pup who bonds deeply with her person and thrives when given a purpose. This smart girl already knows her basic obedience commands (sit, down, stay), is doing fantastic with her “loose leash” walking training, and is both crate trained and house trained. She's well on her way to being the total package! Bailey is at that perfect age where she’s outgrown her puppy phase but still full of playful spirit and curiosity. She loves outdoor adventures, brain games, and any activity that lets her stretch her legs and her mind. With consistent training and positive reinforcement, Bailey is a quick learner and would excel in an active home that can provide structure, engagement, and plenty of affection. She’s people-friendly and absolutely loves kids. Bailey does well with other dogs given proper introductions, but due to her high prey drive, she should not be in a home with cats. She would do best with someone familiar with the breed or an active individual or family ready to help her continue growing into the amazing companion she’s meant to be. Everyone who meets Clay falls in love with his old soul personality. Clay was born on December 5th, 2024. Clay is easily the most well behaved, smartest and most loving boy. He thinks he is a baby. You can carry him in your arms and he will fall asleep on your shoulder. Clay is the definition of a velcro pupp. Anywhere you go, Clay wants to be part of the party. This makes him the perfect companion for an adventurous family. Clay gets along with every animal he has met thus far. He is super respectful of adult dogs of all sizes and plays well with other puppies. Clay is crate trained, potty trained, leash trained and knows all his basic commands. Clay enjoys playing fetch with a tennis ball and has mastered dropping the ball at your feet so he can go chase it again. Clay is neutured and up to date on all vaccines. Storm is a lovely boy. Sweet, loyal and gentle. Storm was abandoned on Highway 88 during a snow storm. Thanks to Caltrans they helped lure him to safety. Storm is good with other dogs, unknown about cats or kids, but he has been a perfect gentleman with everyone he has encountered. Storm knows his commands and is quick to please. show less

These pups were born in rescue. They have been cared for since birth. Their mama Poppy has been the best mama ever. The pups have been exposed to children, cats, and dogs. Please research the breed prior to filling out and adoption application. XL Puppy: up to 1 yr $550.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Lastly, we spay or neuter each of our dogs. Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. It should be noted that our adoption counselors know the dogs and can best guide any possible adopter with a suitable match. Marcella (aka Cella) is a 2-year old German Shepherd mix who what's stolen the hearts of many of our volunteers. She is so sweet and loving, she is all about her people! Cella is a perfect, petite, pocket sized girl. She is about 45lbs and would make an excellent adventuring or jogging companion, or a dog for someone who wants a large breed dog who is easier to manage. Cella has met young children and sad down in front of them for attention, gently kissing their chin and hands. Though we suspect she wouldn't appreciate overly rambunctious very young children. Cella truly loves everyone she meets and is prepared to gently lean in for all the pets. Cella is dog friendly, but not a fan of pushy dogs. She politely and perfectly tells them to go bother someone else. She is crate trained, house trained, rides well in the care, and has basic obedience. We have not tested her with cats. Marcella is a huge snuggle bug and would love to lean into you for lots of love. She would thrive in many types of households, and will make a wonderful companion for one lucky adopter! show less

Delta is a playful and affectionate German Shepherd who is eager to find her forever home. At just 2 years old, she’s in the prime of her life, ready for adventure, and full of energy. Delta’s #1 favorite thing in the world is a good squeaky toy. Whether it’s a ball or any other fun plaything, she’s guaranteed to bring endless joy to playtime. She also loves being petted and cuddled, and she’s always up for a tasty treat. When it comes to activities, Delta adores going on walks and playing catch. Delta is a quick learner with a solid start on basic commands. She knows how to sit and is currently mastering "stay," "shake," and "lay down." Her leash manners are good, though she’s still perfecting them. At home and in the car, Delta exhibits excellent behavior and is house trained. Delta is friendly with strangers, cats, kids, and generally gets along well with other dogs with a proper introduction. She thrives in environments where she can interact with others. Slater is a 4 year old spayed GSD/Mal Mix. Slater just finished up his training at The Good Dog Ranch. He is ready for his family! Slater is the perfect mix of sweet, loyal, and laid back IN the house and playful, fun, and protective outside! He’s incredibly smart and loves to learn. He loves being outside and especially enjoys the water. He’s great with kids and does fine with other dogs with the proper intro. No cats. Say hello to Maeve. She is also known as Mama Wiggle Butt in her foster home. Her stub is always making her backside wiggle. Maeve was found at a high school in the Sacramento area. She has obviously had puppies in the past and is ready to relax and have fun. She loves people, other dogs, and toys. On occasion, she does like to bring things to humans. Sometimes that might be a sock or an item from the counter that she feels would make a great gift. We are working on that. Maeve takes direction well, is crate trained, and is very treat motivated. She enjoys romping in the yard with her foster brothers, going for walks in the neighborhood, or riding in a car on the way to another great adventure. She is also just as happy to cuddle on the sofa and enjoy a good movie with her family. Maeve sleeps through the night on a dog bed next to the house humans. This beautiful Cane Corso will make a great addition to any family. show less
