Meet our fluffy ball of love and affection Ms Stormy🥰🐾 Stormy is the largest of the litter and by far the most gentle. She has a calm disposition that we have never seen in a puppy. She doesn’t ask for much. She loves and thrives with gentle kind correction and only needs to be asked once. She is fostered with two large male dogs who adore her and she feels the same. An 18 year old cat that she shows the proper amount of interest in, a human teenager as well as a five year old girl. Stormy is used to a ton of affection and cuddles from her little human foster sister and she gladly accepts it. She is crate trained, starting to learn how to potty train. Loves puppy bones and squeaky toys. If you are looking for a beautiful ball of fur that won’t ask for much and will love you endlessly, Stormy is your girl. All she wants is a gentle family who will appreciate her gentle nature. She loves other dogs and kids and her most favorite place to be is with her family, regardless of what they are doing. show less

Meet our very sweet with the perfect amount of sass, Ms Sky. Sky has a ton of personality and she is a ton of fun. She is always up for a good time and will gladly join in on any play session her humans want to have with her. She is also extremely affectionate and will be the first to hop in your lap and give you cuddles and all the kisses you can ask for. Sky is fostered with two large male dogs and an 18 year-old cat. Her favorite human by far is her five year-old little foster sister. She will gladly lay down and cuddle up for a snuggle session and also chase toys with her and just run around the house with her to her hearts content. Sky also loves her teenage human foster brother and will snuggle up in his neck as he holds her. She shows the appropriate amount of interest in the senior cat and absolutely loves her too big canine foster Brothers. Sky is very confident and definitely the leader of the litter at the moment. Sky is extremely smart and will train well. She thrives on positive correction. Sky is crate trained and starting to learn potty training. She will thrive in a house with another dog as well as children whether they be big or small. Her ideal family will nurture her extremely loving nature as well as enjoy and partake in her sassy moments. She currently does not like taking pictures probably because her foster mom has taken enough, but she’s a beautiful, gentle little soul🩷 show less

Thunder is one of four puppies found in storm drain in Stockton. We have had them in the rescue for over a month and they have been living with older dogs, cats and been around lots of kids. Hi! I am Yazhi. Like Yahtzee without the "T". I have spent most of my short life at in the shelter, all of my brothers and sisters were adopted but I was still there! One of the CalPaws volunteers came in, took some pictures and next thing I knew I was on my way to a foster home! I showed them that I am the best girl! I slept through the night in an area they made for me from the first night. I showed them how much love I have, I went with them to restaurants and wineries and just relaxed at their feet like they wanted. Then the little girl came home and I was happier than ever! I let her dress me up and we snuggled like ALL THE TIME! I am only 4 1/2 months old but I have all of my shots and my foster mom says I am an old soul, I don't know what that means but she seems to be happy about it. I am super smart, I want to make you happy so when they showed me the doggie door I practiced a few times and I got it down pat! I know "sit" and "down", I am learning "off" but sometimes I get excited to see you. I really like water, its fun to play in, even my water bowl, I am working on which water is for play and which one is for drinking. I like other dogs and I am curious about cats but I think we can make friends if the cat likes dogs too. My favorite humans are ALL OF THEM! I am not the least bit shy. When can we meet? show less

Harvey is a handsome, house-trained neutered approximately 4 year old 47 pound male Husky mix with a unique blend of charm, sensitivity, and spirit. A big sweetheart that is happy meeting new people. He’s obedience trained (knows heel, stay, wait, sit), non-destructive, loves car rides and has a quiet confidence that’s both intriguing and endearing. With a touch of husky independence, Harvey is equally happy hiking all day or lounging peacefully in the yard. He’s comfortable on his own and, as a bonus, completely unfazed by fireworks. While Harvey loves outdoor adventures, he can be leash reactive at times with other dogs, so he'd do best with an experienced handler for walks and hikes. He communicates with the occasional bark, but it’s not excessive—just his way of staying connected. We don’t know how he is with kids and cats because his foster home doesn’t have these. She is cute to watch when she collects all her toys. She’s great at playing tug (gentle with her mouth) and shows willingness to master obedience. Jellybean is very curious in nature when she goes on walks and wants to meet all the other dogs. She’s ready to jump in the car and join you for lunch at your favorite restaurant outdoors or go on a long hike. Jellybean has shown us that she is house-trained, good with kids and other dogs. However, we do believe if you have young children it is important to teach your child to respect an animal. Beckett is working on being house trained. He sleeps through the night and has a good routine. This allows the pups to become house trained quicker. Beckett is in a home with older dogs and is wonderful with new people. After spending a few weeks at a board and train facility, she honed her manners and learned the basics of loose leash walking. Sara loves outdoor adventures, whether it’s a hike in the woods or a car ride to a new destination, but even her daily walks are the highlight of her day. With a sweet and friendly personality, Sara is especially gentle and loving with children. She’s incredibly dog-friendly and treats every new pup she meets as a potential playmate, eager for fun and games. Sara is also cat-friendly, but her playful nature and excitement can sometimes be a bit much for shy or reserved cats. Sara is learning to be more comfortable in her crate and uses it as a safe place to unwind and recharge.
