What do you think of this! Meet Hendricks! He is very playful, full of energy and knows how to behave. We had Hendricks try out for the police K-9 unit - unfortunately he didn’t pass as his hunt instinct wasn’t high enough. So we call him the K-9 unit drop-out. He has the chase and play instinct; you can find him in the backyard watching the chickens and squirrels 🐿️. He is a very well behaved boy, who takes commands well and listens. He is very smart and can pretty much learn any new command or trick you show him in about 3 tries. After a long day of play he definitely enjoys lounging around on the couch with his blankets and pillows. He loves his sister dog and snuggles with her ever chance he gets. (Dog selective). He needs a handler ready to expanding training, give him job and keep him active. Meet Ms Mia. This girl is an easy going love bug. Shes gentle and loves to give all the kisses. Mia shows her excitement with some major tail wagging. She lives with a cat that she has very little interest in, a large lab that she loves to cuddle with and just follow around as well as her 3 year old human sister who she has the just the best puppy manners with! The favorite part of Mia’s day is when she is in the back yard with her humans and foster brother getting to play with toys and just run. She is smart and her recall is already excellent, one whistle and this baby comes running. Mia would adapt flawlessly in a home with animals but she could also be an only baby as she loves her humans and will gladly spend her day showing them just how much. Meet Ody! Ody is a big, beautiful puppy (65 lbs at 5 months). He is a mix of 3 giant guardian breeds (Caucasian Ovcharka, Tibetan Mastiff, Anatolian Shephard) and will likely be 130-150 lbs when full grown. He’s going to be gorgeous! He will do best with a family that has experience with one of these breeds and will embrace his guardian nature as an adult. He is not an outdoor dog as he bonds with his family and wants to spend time with his people. He loves a good ear rub! He wants to play and doesn’t know his size. He needs a strong, confident leader and he responds best to positive reinforcement. Older children that can take part in training and respect his space would be a better fit for him. He is dog friendly with a proper introduction, but he would need a play companion and he can show some resource guarding around food, but corrects well. He is still a puppy! Bella Beau is a very sweet German Shepherd dog who gets along well with both people and other dogs. She loves to play with her toys and she enjoys fetching balls. Bella Beau is very loving and likes to be close to the family hanging out with them in the living room, office or kitchen. Left on her own devices, she can still get into a bit of puppy mischief. She is fine bring in her cage at night or resting during the day. She is also house trained. Bella Beau loves to go on walks, she is learning to walk well on a leash and knows how to sit before crossing the street. She is very easy to teach, is eager to please and loves learning new skills. Bella Beau was probably not treated well in her early life and she is learning how to trust everyone, she is more tentative around men, but with time and love, she will be a lovely addition in a family home. My name is Bella!! I was dropped at the animal shelter as a day old baby with my umbilical cord still attached. I was ice cold and hungry but nice people got me to my foster family who warmed me up and fed me right away! Foster mommy tube fed me for two weeks and bottle fed me for another four so you can imagine how much I love people as I was handled by them every few hours from the start!! I love the kids here and hang with them all the time. They take me to school pick up where I’m regularly swarmed by children and I love it! I also have dog (my doggy foster mom is a sweet golden retriever), cat, kitten, bunny, bird and a horse friend here. I’m socialized with ALL critters and adore them all so the more critter friends, the better!! My personality is extremely gentle. Foster mom says I’m cautious and tend to observe what my sister does before I decide it’s ok. I am a chill, lazy personality who loves lounging on your lap or finding somewhere soft in the house to sleep on my back!
