Pan is one of our Peter Pan litter pups. He is 1 out of a litter of 4. He is thought to be a black mouth cur, plummer terrier mix. He is 3 months old. He is a typical puppy, with puppy behaviors. He will need an adopter who is patient and has the time to train a puppy. We believe they will be medium to large sized dogs when full grown. Azul is a 10-12 month old female, Blue tick coon hound, she is such a sweet heart of a dog. She was very frinedly with everyone at animal control, at the vet office and she immediately made friends with everyone in her TN foster home. She loves kids, and people, and other dogs. She has yet to be cat tested. She has jumped up to say hello and give a kiss to small children. She has been easily corrected, once you tell her no she understands the word! She is plauful, sweet and very friendly. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines and preventatives, she is crate trained and house broken. Azul is looking for her fur ever home in New England. show less

Stitch is a 6 month old male Chihuahua/small terrier mix. Stitch was found as a stray, along side who we assume to be his sister, Lilo and mother Nani. When they were found they were terrified and confused. We dont have much informarion on Stitch and his familys past, but we do know that they all have an amazing future ahead of them! Stitch is looking for his forever family, he is good with other dogs, and children, and cats. They are quite small dogs. He would do well with a family who can be patient with him and give him time to come out of his shell, he will make a great companion or addition to any family! show less

Hadley is a 4 month old female hound/cur mix. She was born with a stubbed tail. She was found as a stray with a group of other dogs, and possibly mom (who is feral). Hadley is good with kids, people or all ages, cats and dogs. She is doing great in her TN foster home, and is excited to come to New England and find her fur ever family! show less

Jed is a 3- 4 year old Treeing walker Coonhound. Jed's prior owners got him to train him to be a hunting dog. When he didnt perform to their liking they dumped him. Jed due to no fault of his own wound up at animal control hoping someone would save him. No one came forward to adopt him, and no rescued saved him. He was at the shelter for over a month. Paws Rescue League and thier partner rescue Alpha Dog TN, pulled Jed from the shelter, got him fixed and vetted and ready to make his way to New England! Jed is now waiting to find his forever home, and a foster home when he arrives up North. Jed is house broken, crate trained, good with other dogs, and plays very well with them, and kids. No cats for this boy. He likes being around his people and walks ok on leash. He is a great boy, he knows most of his commands, and loves to lie around the house and spend time with his family! He loves meeting up with doggy friends and running around the yard or the park. He is a wonderful dog, and hes going to make his new family very happy. show less

Lilo is a 6 month old female Chihuahua/small terrier mix. They are quite small dogs. Lilo was found as a stray, along side who we assume to be her brother, Stitch and mother Nani. When they were found they were terrified and confused. We dont have much informarion on Lilo and her familys past, but we do know that they all have an amazing future ahead of them! Lilo is looking for her forever family, she is good with other dogs, and children, she has yet to be cat tested, but we will work on testing her with cats. She would do well with a family who can be patient with her and give her time to come out of her shell. Once she warms up, which doesnt take long at all, she will make a great addition to any family! show less

Puck is estimated to be 3 years old. He is a husky mix, who is all white ( And beautiful!). He was brought from Kentucky and left at a coal mine in Tennessee. Where he wandered around for about a year. There were multiple attempts to catch Puck, but he evaded being caught each time. Covered in coal dust, one day he wandered into a yard where kids were playing and decided he wanted to play with them. The family called our TN partners and told them they had Puck in their yard! Since hes been with the rescue he has been a sweet heart! It is clear that he used to be someones pet, as he knows basic commands and he enjoys affection from people. Currently in TN he enjoys playing at day care and spending time with his foster humans. Puck would do best in a home with a large fenced in yard so he can safely roam. show less

Animal Control came and pick the 4 puppies up who were all the same size, age and looked alike. Sadly they were apparently left there by someone. They were nervous at animal control shelter, but were sweet to all the staff. Paws took them into our rescue, and were placed in a foster home for a few weeks while they could be vetted and fixed before heading up to New England to meet their new families. They tested well with other dogs, small children and people. They have yet to be cat tested. Andy and his siblings are estimated to be large breed dogs, so prior experience with large breeds is prefered. Andy would love to have a fenced in back yard to play in. show less

Pete is a 1 year old male Chi/Dachund mix. He was an owner surrender, he was being taken to the shelter when a volunteer called us and asked if we would take him. We took Pete and placed him in a TN foster home, so he could be vetted and neutered and make his way up to New England to find his forever family. Pete is a small dude, who enjoys naps and playing with other dog friends. He spends time at doggy day care and loves it. show less

Sophie is a 6 month old German Shepard Mix. She was in a home for the first few months of her life, before coming to rescue as an owner surrender due to the ower being unavailable to care for Sophie. Sophie is a sweet typical puppy who is playful, with lots of energy. She is a mix of working dog breeds, so a home with shepard breed experience would be prefered. She would love a home with a large yard and a dog sibling to play with. She is good with kids and other dogs, unsure how she is with cats. show less

Tilly was found as a severly emaciated stray. Every bone on her body was visible when she was found. She is estimated to be between 1 year to 1 and a half years old. She is a sweet girl, shes had a rough start, trying to fend for herself. Not much is known about her past, we are unsure if she was owned and wasnt treated properly or if she was on her own most of her life. She is heading to New England soon to find her happily furever after. She is looking for a family who will always take care of her, and love her as she should be. Volunteers at Paws have named her Tilly, short for Matilda. Which means strong one or strenght. Because she is a strong girl for surviving what she has. show less

Aurora is a 9 week old Chinook/German Shepard mix. She and her 5 other siblings were found in a neighbors yard. Mom was a stray, and had the puppies on someones property. The owner of the property threatened to shoot the mom. When mom didnt come back for the puppies the good samaratin brought the dogs to our partner in TN. The spring litter has been in our rescue, and have been bottle fed since the age of 3 weeks old. Aurora is playful, curious and friendly, she gets along with everyone, other dogs, kids and cats. Freya and her siblings are not housebroken and are not crate trained yet. show less

Ruger is a 3 year old male Bully mix, he is good with other dogs, cats, people and kids, He is crate trained, house broken, and is in all in all sweet slobbery guy! He walks very well on leash, and if he gets loose he doesn't run from his people ( if he knows you). He loves treats, belly rubs and ear scratches! He is UTD on vaccines, vetting and is neutered. Delilah is a gorgeous 2 year old German Shepard Dog, she is sweet and loves her people. She was dumped at a shelter becasue her family found her to be too active for their lax lifestyle, they were looking for a couch potato. While Delilah does like napping on the sofa, she enjoys getting out and running, playing or going for a hike, She is house broken, and crate trained. She has a typical GSD's energy level. Experience with the breed is prefered. She would do great in a home with older children, who know how to behave with dogs, or no children. She would do best as an only dog, only pet household, where she can get all the attention from her people. She has not been cat tested, but we dont think she would do well with cats. German Shepards can have a high prey drive. She is a young girl, and she would love to find her family who can love and care for her. show less

Hatchi is a 3 year old terrier mix, who came to be in rescue due to an owner surrender. Hatchis owner passed away and the family did not want to care for him. Hatchi is a sweet boy, who thoroughly enjoys the company of his hoomans. He tolerates other dogs, and cats but prefers to just sit on his humans lap. He loves pets and scratches, and he shows his appreciation by giving you tons of kisses! Hatchi is afraid of squeaky toys, so no squeaky toys for this fella. His perfect home would be a retired couple, or retired single owner. He is good with kids but prefers to relax most of the day. He would make a perfect companion for someone looking for a fur buddy to be by there side. show less

Theodora and Esmerelda were found as strays together, they were obvisously sisters and were trying to survive on their own as puppies, they were pulled into a animal control, and a non profit transition shelter pulled Esmerelda and Theodora into their care so they could be cared for and Paws Rescue League could vet them. Theodora is a female 6 month old terrier mix, she is sweet, friendly and playful. She is a little more laid back, compared to her sister. She likes to play with other dogs, and with people. She warms up quickly to people. She is good with dogs and children, were waiting to have her cat tested at this time. show less
