Frankie's babies arrived last week, and now it's Frankie's turn to find her forever home. Frankie is a 1-year-old female hound/Lab mix with a beautiful tan coat and the cutest ears you've ever seen! She's spayed and up to date on all her vetting, including testing negative for heartworm. 🐶❤️ Frankie is not only a loving and devoted mom but also an incredible companion. She is good with kids aged 6 years and up, as well as other dogs. While her compatibility with cats is uncertain, she has shown a gentle and friendly nature with other animals. At 10 weeks old, Aster is currently in the process of learning house training and making great progress under our patient guidance. Freeze, Drizzle, Glacier, Hilly, and Cyclone were dumped by their owners along with their momma Frankie. Paws Rescue League Inc was asked by the humane society if we could take them into rescue. Frankie and her 5 pups have been in TN foster while they were vetted, and cleared for transport and adoption. Freeze is a 10 week old female German Shepard hound mix, she had a beautiful black and tan coat of a shepard. Freeze currently weighs about 5lbs, and is expected to be between 40-60lbs full grown. She would love to have a family with shepard experience, and a fenced in yard to play. She would do well in a home with kids, other dogs and cats. She is very young still, and socialization and growing up with cats, dogs and kids will teach her to continue to do well with them. Freeze is NOT housebroken, she is only 10 weeks old, and is busy practicing leash walking, and housebreaking, and crate training. She is a typical playful, curious pup, who is ready to meet her family so she can grow with them! She is currently in a CT foster home, and is waiting to find her FURever family! show less

Shortcake is a little cutie, she is belived to be a chihuahua and boston terrier mix, she weighs about 11lbs, and is 6 years young. She was found as a terrified stray, and brought to animal control and put on a stray hold, Paws Rescue League Inc, pulled her from the shelter once her hold was up, so we could find her a loving family/home who will love and care for her and give this darling little girl all the time she needs. She has been through a lot, being on the streets, scared and alone, and in a noisy frightening shelter. She is in her adult years, and all she wants is a person or family she can love, and who will love her back. Shortcake is good with people, and with other dogs, we are unsure how she would be with cats, and small children. Shortcake is housebroken, and crate trained, but prefers to be near her people. She is ok on leash, but is still adjusting to the big change, coming from rural TN to busy suburbs of a city in CT. She is a very affectionate little love, and her foster mom only has wonderful things to say about her. One look at her and you can see how everyone who meets her falls in love immediately! Archy, Reggy, and Jughead were picked up as strays, they were found starving, and in survival mode, at only 12 weeks old! Someone had dumped these 3 helpless babies. The animal control center they were picked up by is a kill shelter. TN state law, is a dog can be euthanized if no one claims the dog within 3 days,( an owner, new adopter or a rescue has to take them in) thankfully we were able rescue them from the kill shelter. With little foster homes open, we were not sure if we could save these 3 siblings, but thankfully a wonderful foster parent stepped up for them, so they could be saved. We believe these 3 brothers are belgian malinos/hound mix, they have very distictive black/grey faces and have some mal features. On top of that all 3 are already very agile and smart. They are all food motivated, which makes training easier, than dogs who arent food motivated. Archy is tan, with some white on his chest, and very minimal grey/black on his face. He has the least visible marking. Archy is 3 months old, and is already neutered, medically up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and on monthly preventatives. Archy is a playful, silly, happy loving pup, who loves to be around other dogs, kids and people. ( They currently live on a farm, - and are NOT good with chickens). Archy is working on leash training, crate training, and housebreaking, and is doing wonderfully! He arrives in New England on 04/15/23 and is looking for a FURever home or a Foster home who can love him until he finds his home! show less

Bebe is a 2-3 year old spayed female Lab/Aussie cattle dog mix, she is the GORGEOUS mom of 9 babies, Charlotte, Cisco, Elysse, Joan, Potter, Riggs, Reggie, Scothc and Sully! Half of her babies have already found loving homes, and the other half are still waiting for thier PAWfect families! Momma Bebe, was found skin and bones, with her 9 loving pups, once we got her into rescue, we placed her in a foster home, had her gain some much needed weight, and got her fully vetted. Her babies arrived in New England 2 weeks ago, now momma Bebe has finally gained enough weight where she is cleared to travel to New England and find a home of her own. Where she will be loved and never ever have to worry about having another litter of puppies. Bebe is a sweet girl, who just wants to be loved and to love her people. She is crate trained, fully housebroken, good on leash, and good in the car. She is good with people, and kids, we suggest 10 years and up, just to give her a break from young energy after raising 9 babies. She is very sweet natured and friendly. Bebe arrives in New England on 04/15/23 and is hoping to find a loving family of her own From her foster mom: I’ve been fostering mama Bebe for 2 weeks now, and oh my goodness I love this girl! Bebe was found starving in TN with her 9 puppies. Amazing that she was able to keep them alive since she was literally skin and bones! Bebe is now a healthy 55 lbs of silly sweetness. She is a confident dog, loving and affectionate but not in your face. She loves to catch toys in her mouth and carry them around, and she will happily present them to you when you come to the door. Bebe enjoys walks but is lower energy and does not require a lot of exercise. She is an easy going girl who really doesn’t require much to be happy. Not a big barker or chewer, zero food aggression and no separation anxiety. She is housebroken and can be left out uncrated without getting into things that she shouldn’t. I really don’t know how this spotty dotty love hasn’t gotten adopted yet! Bebe is looking for a home without cats or other small animals, as she does have a strong prey drive, but otherwise she would do well with pretty much any family. show less

Ontop of that all 3 are already very adgile and smart. They are all food motivated, which makes training easier, than dogs who arent food motivated. Jughead is tan, with a black face. He has a fluffy coat, while his 2 brothers have short coat fur. Jughead is 6 months old, and is already neutered, medically up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and on monthly preventatives. Jughead is a playful, silly, happy loving pup, who loves to be around other dogs, kids and people. ( They currently live on a farm, - and are NOT good with chickens). He is working on leash training, crate training, he is 95% housebroken, he may have accidents while adjusting to his routine, and is doing wonderfully! He currently weighs about 18lbs, and is NOT expected to get much larger, the vet believes they are atleast 6 months based off of their teeth. Jughead is very smart, and playful and friendly, he loves to cuddle with people, get lots of pets, and LOVES to play with other doggos. He attended doggy day care 5 days a week while in his TN foster home. He arrives in New England on 04/122/23 and is looking for a FURever home or a Foster home who can love him until he finds his home! show less

Little Man came to Paws Rescue League Inc when a local Humane Society reached out to us to ask us if we can take in a dog they adopted out the year before, sadly the dogs owner had died suddenly from heart and congenital issues unexpectedly. We agreed to intake Little Man and find him a loving home Liltle man is a senior Pomeranian with gorgeous white fur he weighs about 6lbs, and at the age of 6, we do NOT expect him to get any larger. He is good with people, and dogs, we have not had him cat tested but we believe he would do ok with cats, as well as young children. He was tested with other children and did great with them. He is Pad trained, and outdoor trained, he walks ok on leash and does well in the car. His TN foster says he is a very sweet pooch Lillte man is looking for a home where he can enjoy the last 3-7 years ( or more) of his life, where he has people to love, and who love him. He is very laid back and just happy to be alive show less

Zoey came to us through a local TN animal shelter, a family was giving up their many dogs, because it became too much for them having so many dogs. They gave up 6 dogs, Bella, Chevy Jade, Prissy, Sassy, and Zoey. All 6 are Pomeranian and chihuahuas, and mixes of the two. Zoey is a 1.5 year old spayed female Pomeranian mix, she has long hair red and white fur. She house trained, crate trained, and good with other dogs, and people, we suggest older kids, 8 and up. We are unsure how they would do with cats. Sassy is under 15lbs, and is full grown, She is a laid back pooch who likes to be close to her people. Medically up to date with all of her vet care.
