Biggie and his siblings were rescued at 4 weeks old after their mom was hit by a car and sadly killed. They have been fostered in TN for the past 4 months, until Paws Rescue League gave them their freedom ride to New England to find their furever homes! All of these pups just love to be loved and are loyal family members. This guy has loved every person and dog he has met! He is good on leash, friendly and well mannered, and just loves going on an adventure. He is crate trained and fully housebroken (may have accidents the first few days while adjusting to a new environment/routine). From Dakota's current foster: "Dakota is smaller than his brother Dylan. He's super playful, energetic, more vocal and a little more possessive. When he's getting his love he doesn't want any other dog interrupting and will say so. He loves to snuggle and actually cried when we went to bed early the other night because he just wanted to cuddle up (see picture). He likes being held, too! Also not potty trained but using pee pads. He has the cutest white patch on his chest and white toe hairs. He also loves chewing and squeaky toys. We do not know who dad is, but mom is a medium sized wire-coated Irish terrier mix and her babies (her Swifties) are a mix of wire hair, curly hair and flat coat and are ADORABLE! There are 8 puppies in the litter; two females and six males. Trouble is a black wire haired puppy with a small white patch on his chest and the characteristic terrier beard. He will likely be the same size as mom. These puppies are microchipped, are up to date with vaccinations, have no intestinal worms, and are being fostered in a loving CT foster home, by a foster mom who keeps them very clean and well-fed and stimulated. show less

Unlike their other siblings, Mushroom and Reishi both have long legs and look like they could be mixed with Italian Greyhound. Mushroom and his siblings were rescued from a hoarding case in TN. He is a timid boy who is easily startled, and he is working on building his confidence. He is shy at first, but he warms up to be a sweet, loving dog once he knows you are safe. Mushroom would do best in a quiet, calm home. Due to his timid nature, we recommend older kids 8+ who know to respect a dog's space, or no kids. Mushroom is fine with most dogs, but he prefers lower energy dogs. He does resource guard food/treats from other dogs (never people), so he will need to be fed and given high value treats separately from other dogs (we recommend this with ALL dogs regardless).
