The time is now to bring home your new furry family member!! Meet Elton, a 3 year old male chihuahua mix who weighs 9 lbs. He is a sweet, shy boy. He was rescued from a hoarding situation in TN where he was found with over 25 other chihuahua mixes. He is not yet fixed, but will be soon along with his cherry eye that has just started. Elton is pad and outdoor trained and just the sweetest little man. show less

Meet the 3 "Lover Boy" puppies, 4 month old Adonis, Casanova, and Romeo! These boys are pure bred border collie puppies that were dumped at animal control in East TN on 2/1 by a border collie breeder. Due to severe overcrowding, owner surrender dogs in this area are given 24 hours to be adopted or pulled by rescue, before they are at risk for euthanasia. Paws Rescue League stepped in and pulled all 3 pups and placed them into a loving foster home, to await their freedom ride to New England. A couple of days after being in their foster home, one of the puppies started to have watery stool late at night, and by the next morning all 3 refused to eat or drink. Their amazing TN foster mom got them to the vet first thing in the morning, where all 3 puppies tested positive for parvo. Parvovirus is a very serious illness that often results in death in young puppies if treatment is not begun immediately (even with treatment, it's only a 50/50 chance that a puppy will pull through this awful virus). Fortunately, it was caught early in this case and treatment was effective. All 3 Lover Boys have fully recovered and are now healthy and thriving, and are ready to make their way to New England to find their furever homes! Adonis is a 2 month old male pure bred border collie, weighing about 20 lbs currently. He is expected to grow to a medium sized dog. He is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone. Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. He is crate trained and working on perfecting potty training. Adonis is fostered in New Enland and awaiting his furever home! show less

The time is now to bring home your new furry family member!! Meet Cash, Jewel, Pearl, and Darin, dubbed the "Trash to Treasure" pups. These innocent babies were sadly dumped in a dumpster in TN at 4 weeks old. Luckily they were spotted and were saved by Paws Rescue League, and placed into loving foster homes until they were old enough to make their freedom ride to New England. They are doing fanstastic now and have been cleared by the vet to come north and find their furever homes! Cash is an 8 week old male Vizsla mix pup, who is expected to grow to a medium sized dog. He is crate trained and pad trained, and is working on outdoor potty training. He is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone and is eager to learn. He is being fostered in CT with a loving foster mom and his siblings. show less

The time is now to bring home your new furry family member!! Claus and his siblings are the babies of Mama Holiday (see pictures of her here), a beautiful, sweet bluenose pitbull mix. Holiday is a small girl (~45 lbs) and we do not expect these babies to get much bigger. Holiday was dumped at animal control heavily pregnant, and we took her in. She delivered 8 beautiful babies, who we named the Holiday Puppies litter (Christmas Theme). We do not know what dad was, but considering some of the puppies have curly long hair, he could have been a poodle. Claus is a sweet little petite boy who loves to snuggle, sleep and play. He's working on potty training which is expected for a pup his age. He's currently 10 lbs in weight. Claus is available for adoption, and is being loved in a New England foster homes. **MARCH MUTT MADNESS ADOPTION SALE*** For the month of March, all mixed breed dogs have a reduced adoption fee! All adopt fees will be reduced by $100 from what is listed on our website. The time is now to bring home your new furry family member!! Momma Barista was saved by Paws Rescue League Inc, the day before Christmas along with a dog she came in with (Ringo). She was HEAVILY pregnant, about to pop! Unfortunately the animal control center was closed for Christmas, as are most places. We were notified that she had delivered 9 babies on the morning of 12/26/23! We had a wonderful volunteer who jumped into action to help get Barista and her 8 surviving babies picked up from the shelter and delivered to her amazing foster momma! We had decided to name the 8 babies after coffee theme, and welcomed Cappuccino, Mocha, Latte Love, Java, Macchiato, Espresso, Chai, and Bean! Barista unfortunately had picked up a bacterial infection, that 2 of the remaining babies caught and their bodies and immune system were too weak to fight off the infection. Latte Luv and Java sadly crossed the rainbow bridge. The remaining 6 babies were seen by the vet, prescribed antibiotics, and their foster mom made sure they got antibiotics 2 times a day to make sure they would survive. Along with constant care, and feedings and plenty of TLC over the course of 6 weeks. The remaining pups fought off the infection, and grew like weeds over the next few weeks in their foster moms careful care! They are now 8 weeks old and have clean bills of health, and are ready to head north to New England to find their furever homes! Macchiato is a male shepherd/husky mix pup, expected to grow to a medium sized dog. He is crate trained and working on housebreaking. Macchiato is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone he meets and is eager to learn! Good with all animals and people, and kids. show less

The time is now to bring home your new furry family member!! Mama Eden is the beautiful, loving mom of the E litter pups (Everest, Everett, Everly, Emery, Etta, Effie, Eero, Elodie, and Esme). Eden was dumped at Animal Control with her 9 young babies, all of whom were rescued by PRL and placed in loving foster homes in TN to await their freedom ride to New England. The pups were transported to New England a few weeks ago and several have already been adopted. Now it's Mama Eden's turn! Eden is a 2-3 year old spayed female German Shepherd weighing about 60 lbs. She is described by her TN foster as "the best GSD ever"! She is a very sweet, loving, calm, and gentle girl - all traits that made her an excellent mama to her pups! She is shy at first but warms up quickly. She walks great on leash, and is crate trained and housebroken. Good with other dogs, people, and kids. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats. From Eden's Connecticut foster: "Eden is truly an incredible dog, she is the best behaved of the 25+ foster dogs I have had. She knows sit, stay and heel. She is very sweet and loving. Everytime she is on a walk, she walks calmly next to me, even when dogs bark at her she does not engage. People marvel at how well behaved she is. People think I have spent years training her, but it is her personality. She never had an accident in the house. She doesn't chew anything. She is great in the car, loves to go on walks and hikes and loves her marrow bones. She is great with dogs, kids and people. If I did not travel a lot I would have adopted her a long time ago. If you love GSDs, you will not find a better GSD than Eden." show less

He came from the hoarding case in TN, along with Sissi, Salah, Solana, Freddie, Lola and Elvis. Pepper has warmed up quickly in his new CT foster home. He loves to snuggle, follow around his fellow chihuahua foster brothers, and be the shadow of his foster mama. He would do best in a home with other dogs as he loves being with other furry friends. He is crate trained, pad trained, and outdoor potty trained. Good with other dogs, people, and kids. He doesn't seem to like kitties that much (too intersted in them) so would do best in a home wihout with cats or cats who know how to keep a dog in line. Chura's CT forster mom says that she's very friendly and gets along with the resident dogs. She likes to follow you around and will make a great lap dog! show less

Nova Lee is a very sweet girl who can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and is super friendly. She is quite smart (as most border collies are), she knows basic commands and walks wonderfully on leash. From Nova Lee's New England foster: "Nova Lee is the sweetest girl! She is an extremely submissive dog. We have two other dogs in our house and she loves both of them. Once she warms up to you, be prepared for lots of love and the cutest head tilts. We are truly already in love with her." Nova Lee is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. She is good with other dogs, people, and kids. Lola is an 8 year old female chihuahua mix, weighing 6 lbs. She came from the hoarding case in TN, along with Sissi, Salah, Pepper, Solana, Freddie, and Elvis. Lola is a shy, sweet girl who is learning to trust people and accept love and affection for probably the first time in her life. She is crate trained, pad trained, and outdoor potty trained. She has not been fixed yet, but will be spayed soon by our rescue. Good with other dogs, people, and kids. She has not been cat tested, however we feel she would likely do fine with cats. Like most senior girls, she has cloudy eyes, which has made her vision impaired, but that doesn't stop her from seeing the good in people. Her and her sister Ninetails (names from Pokemon) were found as strays. They have been fully vetted, fixed, heartworm negative, and free of all diseases.
