Meet Zipper, a SUPER cute 3 month old male mixed breed puppy, born to mama Buttons on 8/24/25! Buttons gave birth to 9 babies, two of whom were sadly stillborn. Of the remaining 7, 4 of them did not make it 😢 The three surviving pups (Zipper, Ruffles, and Ribbon) have thrived and turned into happy, healthy, chubby puppies! They are now ready to find their furever homes! Unlike his siblings, Zipper has longer hair and short, stubby little legs! 😍 We believe he has some corgi in him. We expect them to grow into small/medium sized dogs. Zipper is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs. He is medically up to date (age appropriate), crate trained, and working on housebreaking. Apply to meet this sweet boy today! **Zipper will not be available until our 12/14/25 adoption event at Petco in Dayville, CT. We are accepting applications on him now! We will prioritize applicants who are able to attend the 12/14 event. If Zipper is not adopted at the event, we will move on to other applicants.** Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
