Clyde came with his sister Bonnie from Mexicali, Mexico. They didn't have the best start but this handsome, goofy boy is cuddly and sweet! He is a lab/shepherd mix and we expect he will be a big boy in the 50-60 pound range. Clyde is still working on his potty training, is sleeping through the night, and doing great on his leash walking. His foster mom says "he is very sweet and loves snuggles and belly/face rubs. He is playful yet can be a bit lazy as he loves nap and snuggle time. He can be a bit goofy and I find myself laughing at some of the things he does, never fails to put a smile on my face!" Clyde loves to be outside wrestling with his sister, lounging in the grass, or playing with toys. He would love a canine sibling and a yard to play in with humans who will introduce him to the outside world on many adventures. If you would like to meet Clyde please fill out an adoption application on our website and an adoption coordinator will be in contact. show less

Who doesn't love an Oreo! This sweet schnauzer mix is the total package, he is good with dogs and loves meeting new people! At almost 6 months old and 25 pounds we expect he will be 40-45 pounds full grown. Oreo came to us from the streets of Mexico and has been thriving in his foster home. He is still has occasional accidents, but he is crate trained, does well on leash, and loves the dog park! He has been working on his basic training and is even learning tricks! His foster family says he is smart, learns things quickly, is energetic and playful, and loves attention. Oreo is still a puppy though so his forever family will need to watch their shoes! We don't know how he would do with cats, and he hasn't been around many kiddos but we think he would do just fine with them. If you would like to meet Oreo please fill out an adoption application on our website and an adoption coordinator will be in contact. show less

BunBun from the Adventure Time litter has become accustomed to treatment befitting her royal lineage. However, she does not reserve her wagging tail and wiggling butt for only her royal consorts; she deigns to grace all of her subjects with her unconditional love. BunBun doesn't do things like 'the cold' and fully expects to be picked up and tucked into a sweatshirt or jacket so that she not be subjected to peasant weather. She likes to play but tires quickly - or otherwise opts for pets or naps. She loves to cuddle her people and has decreed that everyone gives her many scratches and rubs. BunBun is a complete princess but gives her love freely and in turn is beloved by all her subjects (that's you). BunBun is 8 weeks old and we expect she will be in the 20-25 pound range when full grown. If you would like to meet this cutie please fill out an adoption application on our website and an adoption coordinator will be in contact. show less

Do you love a herding dog and all of their intricacies? Are you not afraid of a dog who has had a ruff life and needs to find the right humans who can give her a forever home? Ivy is that dog. She was thrown from a moving car at just 4 months old and spent a few months waiting for a rescue to give her a chance. Ivy wants nothing more than the love of her humans. She is also a big lover of animals - when she sees cats or birds she wants to PLAY with them rather than chase them, and she absolutely adores every dog she meets. She wants to be every animal’s friend! She is a very fast learner and great at keeping herself occupied by taking all of her toys out of the toy basket and running around with them. She is fully crate and potty trained, good on a leash after some initial excitement over going on a walk. True to her nature, and likely due to humans not treating her well when she was young, Ivy is overly protective in her home and can be spooked by people on walks. Ivy has had extensive training with her foster family to build up her confidence and shape new, more positive reactions to new people, and her new forever family will need to continue this training to make sure Ivy’s new habits are here to stay. Ivy has nipped/bitten people in the past so we are looking for adopters who are dog savvy and keep Ivy and those around her safe. Complimentary training sessions will be included in Ivy’s adoption to make sure she gets off on the right paw with her new family. Because of her insecurities Ivy will do best in a home without children. If you’d like to meet Ivy, please fill out an application on the TRD website and an adoption coordinator will be in touch. show less

Felix is a ton of cuteness in a little package! Felix came to us from Tecate, Mexico and he is doing great in his foster home. He is 7 months old and 12 pounds, we don't know for sure but he is likely mixed with dachshund. His foster dad says he is crate and potty trained, and does great on leash walks! He is playful, energetic, likes playing fetch with stuffed toys, and loves his walks. He lived with young kids in Mexico, and has done great with dogs while he has been in our care. Felix is just a great all around puppy! We aren't sure how he will do with cats though. We think he will top out at about 20 pounds so if you are looking for a pint sized companion, he will do well in any living situation! If you would like to meet Felix, please fill out an adoption application on our website and an adoption coordinator will be in contact. show less

Meet Picabo (peek-a-boo), a friendly young lady full of spunk and ready for adventure! Picabo came to us from our rescue partner in Mexicali and has since been living in a foster home with other dogs and cats, with whom she gets along great! She loves playing with stuffed toys and running around in the backyard during the day, and at night she is happy to curl up in her crate for a good sleep. At about 3 years old, she has matured beyond her puppy habits, but still has youthful energy and lots of life to offer her forever family. Picabo has not been around kids, but she is friendly with all the adults she meets, walks well on a leash, and is working on potty training (she may need a bit more guidance in her new home with that). We believe Picabo is a chihuhua/miniature pinscher mix, and at a little over 10 pounds she will fit perfectly into your lap for some cuddles! If you’re interested in meeting Picabo, please fill out an application on our website and an adoption coordinator will be in touch. show less
