1. By completing this form for help I am choosing to only using Tracking In The Shadows - Rescuing Lost Dogs to locate the pet in need. Should I choose to use another recovery group, any and all progress made will be lost and equipment and volunteers will be pulled.

2. I promise not to give out the exact location where the feed station and equipment are setup for the safety of the dog.

3. I agree to help Tracking In The Shadows to the best of my abilities and follow their guidlines for humanely and safely capturing this dog.

4. I agree to not chase, call out or pursue this dog. I know that ignoring the dog and making it feel safe will help keep it in the area so that it can be safely captured.

The first step to capturing a lost dog is to start a feed station. Has this been done?

You want this location to be away from the road in a secluded spot as much as possible but also close to where you have seen the dog traveling. It must be on private property with permission from the property owner. You want to use high value food options. Examples (Tuna, Hot Dogs, Sausage, Chicken, Sardines, Braunschweiger, canned dog food and liquid smoke for a trail to the food bowl. This is the first step to trapping and needs to be established before we come out.
