Please know that we understand and empathize with you at this time. There are so many reasons a person must give up a pug, and we never judge since we understand both how difficult this step is and how important it is that you feel this is the right action to take.
Please fill out the form below and please make sure to answer each question in the form to allow the submission.
WE WILL NOT AGREE TO TAKE YOUR PUG INTO OUR RESCUE WITHOUT A PICTURE!
While we love all dogs, Pug Pals is a breed specific rescue. Other brachycephalic breeds and mixes may be considered for intake on a case by case basis. INTAKE REQUESTS SUBMITTED WITHOUT A PHOTO WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. If you are in search of a rescue for another type of dog, please send us an email with the breed of the dog and location and we may be able to provide you with alternative rescues you may contact.
Once the rescue reviews your application, someone will contact you with to arrange to meet you and pick up your pug. Then our new rescue pug is placed in a loving foster home with other pugs and pug lovers. Our foster homes are spread out across Utah and Idaho.
Anyone interested in adopting from us must 1) file an application- in which they must list three personal references and a their veterinarian 2) have a home visit conducted with one of our trained volunteers. All information is submitted to the Board of Directors for approval.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and we hope you consider Pug Pals Inc. as a great alternative to rehoming your pug yourself, relinquishing to a local shelter or breeder.
