How many dogs have you owned?

Have you worked in the animal field in a professional nature?

Do you have any experience with fearful dogs?

Are you comfortable being around barking dogs, animal feces and prepared to be flexible?

How would you rate your physical strength (when it comes to walking strong dogs)?

Do you understand that by applying to be an on-site volunteer, you will be helping with the dogs and tasks needing to be done that day. Tasks may or may not include: Scooping feces, cleaning kennels/dog runs, doing laundry, mopping floors, walking dogs, taking adoption photos.

Are you comfortable working around chemicals like Bleach, Vinegar, Laundry Detergent, Fabric Softener, Dawn Dish Soap and others?

Volunteering can be very physically demanding with pushing, pulling, twisting, sudden yanking, lifting, reaching, bending and kneeling. Are you aware of this and ok with what is listed above?

This is a Volunteer Position for Adults Only at this point. Children under 18 might be accepted on a case by case basis at a later time. Do you understand these requirements and agree?

What is your availability to volunteer?

Is this schedule you provided in the previous question a consistent/reliable schedule or will your availability be more fluid and will know more week by week?

I understand that due to the nature of this Volunteer Position, an orientation will be necessary and pending the comfortability of the Volunteer Coordinator, I might require more than one assisted/monitored sessions before I can come on my own.

I understand that this is an on-site volunteer position and sometimes Babs's schedule changes at a moments notice. There might be last minute cancelations for initial/monitored volunteering that will be unavoidable due to the nature of the Rescue Business.
