Personal Information

Prospective Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Hope For Life Rescue. We are grateful that you are choosing to donate the gift of your time to help the animals in our care. Volunteers help strengthen the heart of our rescue by supporting both the animals and the daily work that keeps our facility running. From giving our animals more one on one time, enrichment, and comfort to helping with every day tasks that our small team juggles, volunteers play a meaningful role in creating the safe, clean, and caring enviornment we want every animal here to experience.

Our rescue operates out of two buildings that are in close proximity to one another and function together as one facility, along with the support of our foster network.

Before getting started, please click the link below to view our Volunteer Overview. It explains what volunteering looks like with us, where things are, and the ways we need help.

Volunteer Overview

Age Requirements

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to help wth general volunteering inside the facility.

We do offer limited opportunities for those under 18. This includes kitten and puppy socializing as long as  they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. These sessions are posted through our Snuggle Squad sign ups linked below.

Snuggle Squad

Snuggle Squad sign ups are not available every day and depend entirely on the animals we have in the building. We post these sign ups on our Facebook page, but you can also save the link above to check for updates. Please make sure to check the date on the sign up form. We update it when new slots become available, but older dates may still appear. Confirm that you are signing up for the correct day before submitting.

Before You Visit

Please take a moment to review the Volunteer Overview before your first visit. It goes into greater detail about volunteering, answers questions you may have, and helps make the introduction smoother when you arrive. We are always happy to answer any additional questions and show you more of the facility so you feel comfortable and prepared.

Once you have finished filling out the volunteer form, you are welcome to come in and get started!

Thank you again for choosing to volunteer with us. Your support means a lot to our team and to every animal in our care.
