I will remember that in all my dealings with the public as a volunteer, I am representing Forgotten Dogs Rescue, and that the public will consider my words and actions regarding rescue activities representative of the attitude and position of Forgotten Dogs Rescue as an organization.

I understand that as an individual and volunteer, I cannot enter into agreements for Forgotten Dogs Rescue.

I accept full responsibility for expenses incurred by myself as a volunteer Forgotten Dogs Rescue. Although I may be reimbursed by Forgotten Dogs Rescue, I must have prior approval from an officer of the Board of Directors, as well as the necessary documentation and receipts.

I understand that Forgotten Dogs Rescue has no knowledge of our rescue dogs' background and cannot guarantee or predict the dogs' temperament or reactions. I am aware that a dog may cause personal or property damage and agree to keep dogs in my care securely contained.

I understand that if I use my personal vehicle in performing my duties as a Forgotten Dogs volunteer, I agree to at all times maintain a valid drivers license and automobile insurance as required by law. I hereby assume all risks associated with using my personal vehicle in performing my volunteer duties, and I understand that I am solely responsible for all liabilities that result from use of my personal vehicle in performing my volunteer duties.

I understand it is my decision to volunteer for Forgotten Dogs Rescue and agree that I will not hold Forgotten Dogs Rescue, nor any of its members, liable for any damage, injury or harm caused directly or indirectly through my volunteer activities. I understand that neither Forgotten Dogs, its volunteers, employees, officers or agents is liable to me, my heirs or representative for any claims, legal actions, losses, injuries, damages, costs, expenses, or liabilities whatsoever arising out of or in connection with my position as a Forgotten Dogs volunteer. Should any third party claims or losses arise out of my position as a Forgotten Dogs volunteer, I agree to indemnify, defend and hold Forgotten Dogs, its volunteers, employees, officers and agents harmless from and against such claims or losses, including without limitation interest, penalties, attorneys' fees and costs, which may be incurred by, or be asserted against, Forgotten Dogs any and all of them, in connection with my position as a Forgotten Dogs volunteer.
