Submitting this form does not imply that Paws for Life NC will be able to take in your surrendered animal unless it was originally adopted from Paws for Life NC or the Franklin County Humane Society. We will do our best to find a foster home for your animal if one is available. Paws for Life NC does not operate a facility. We foster out of our homes and are often full to capacity. If you must surrender your pet please consider fostering the dog or cat until they are adopted. Please provide as much notice as possible of the need to surrender your animal. We will get back to you as soon as possible with questions or information. Please keep in mind Paws for Life NC operates 100% on volunteers most of whom have full time jobs. This is a REQUEST to surrender an animal. Please know we are 100% volunteer and do not have a facility, our ability to take in owner-surendered animals is very limited. If your Pet was adopted from Paws for Life NC or the Franklin County Humane Society, per the adoption contract, we require a MINIMUM of two weeks to find a new foster home for your pet. In some circumatacnes it may take a litte longer, especially around holidays. Thank you again we will review your request and be in touch with you as soon as possible.
