The majority of our communication is done via a collaboration app (mobile device). Are you willing to join a private group and remain active and engaged? Sometimes in the world of rescue, things can happen on short notice and we ask our volunteers to interact regularly and sometimes assist where needed if they are able outside of their regular scheduled volunteer time?

I understand that the handling of animals and other volunteer activities may place me in harmful situations and
could result in injury to myself or my personal property. On behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives
and assigns, I hereby release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless Michele’s Rescue and/or its
representatives from any and all claims, causes of action and demands of any nature, whether known or unknown,
arising out of or in connection with my volunteer activities.

If I become a volunteer of Michele’s Rescue, I will comply with all the rules, policies, and communications directed
to volunteers and fosters. I understand that I will be free to leave my volunteer position giving at least 1 day notice, with or without cause, and I also understand and agree Michele’s Rescue and/or its representatives may also terminate
my volunteer duties at any time with or without cause.

I grant Michele’s Rescue and/or its representatives the right to use my shared and posted content either by written, printed, images, video and/or electronic media for marketing, public relations, and/or
educational purposes. Michele’s Rescue and/or its representatives retains all rights to use, publish, or distribute images and has the right to do so without seeking further permission.

I certify that I have read and understand any and all provisions for this application and that I consent to its terms. I certify and agree that all statements made by me on this application are true, complete, and correct to the best of my knowledge. I understand and agree that any falsification, misrepresentation, distortion, or omission with respect to said
information whether pertaining to this application or any other aspect of the pre-hiring process will
be reason for (1) my not being offered a volunteer opportunity or (2) my dismissal at any time once placed.
