"I understand that I am required to attend training for Paws N Hooves Black Forest Animal Sanctuary (PNH/BFAS) volunteer activities and go through a trial period before final approval as a volunteer. Once approved, I will be required to attend annual volunteer training sessions. I understand that PNH/BFAS has my permission to use any photographs of me to promote the organization. I will inform PNH/BFAS of any previous injuries that may affect my ability to safely complete volunteer tasks, including lifting. I understand that I must carry my own health insurance. I will not hold PNH/BFAS responsible for any unforeseen injuries or problems that may occur while I am volunteering. I understand that I may be dealing with animal waste/vomit if I am at the sanctuary, fostering, or at events. I will not abuse, neglect, retaliate against, or deny food, water, or any other basic necessities to PNH/BFAS animals. I understand that I am expected to report any incident, action, or circumstance that presents a threat or endangerment to PNH/BFAS animals, volunteers, or staff. I I will inform my supervisor or another staff member in the case of any medical emergency for an animal or human. I understand that if I am arrested and/or convicted of a crime, I must inform the Executive Director of PNH/BFAS immediately."
