By agreeing to serve as a Volunteer for 2 Blondes All Breed Rescue (“2BABR”), I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless 2BABR, its directors, officers, volunteers, staff and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, and expenses, including attorney fees, arising out of suits, claims and demands by reason of illness, injury or death of any person(s) or damage to any property attributable to the willful misconduct, negligent acts or negligent omissions of the Volunteer, its subcontractors, and their officers, agents or employees. I agree to maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance at all times. I acknowledge that the behavior of dogs, cats or other animals can be unpredictable and carries with it certain risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches or other injury to both the person and property. I understand that working with animals is inherently dangerous. I understand and agree that 2BABR rescues animals from shelters, pounds and other situations and, therefore, 2BABR cannot know the complete behavioral, medical or mental history of its animals. I recognize and accept this risk and waive the right to bring any legal claims against 2BABR, its directors, officers, agents and employees from any illness, injury, death, or damage to property that may result from the inherently dangerous activity of working with or caring for animals. I further agree to hold harmless and release from liability 2BABR, its volunteers, staff, agents, officers, and directors should I become ill or injured by any animals as a result of my volunteer work or as a result of any actions of 2BABR, its volunteers, staff, agents officers and directors. I am fully aware of, understand, and agree to all the terms and conditions of this RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION PROVISION, and that it is BINDING AND ENFORCEABLE BY LAW. I agree that if one portion of this Volunteer Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining portions are separate and valid. I UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, I AM WAIVING IMPORTANT LEGAL RIGHTS. I AM AGREEING TO THIS DOCUMENT VOLUNTARILY AND KNOWINGLY. I further acknowledge that I have had the opportunity to seek legal counsel of my own choice before executing this agreement, and I have not been denied the opportunity to do so. I agree that by checking 'Yes' below constitutes a legally binding signature. By checking 'Yes' below, I agree to all terms of this Volunteer Agreement.
