Hi there, my name is Bucky! I am a 4- year old and they think I am a Border Collie/Pointer mix but I definitely have some herding dog instincts, I will even herd your socks into a pile. I am in search of my perfect forever home. The people who adopted me from the shelter did not realize how much energy my breed has and do no have the ability to offer me the outlet I need to expend my energy! You see, I was sick when they adopted me (canine flu) so I was very calm until I felt better and then I could show off my true personality. I currently live with cats and like to chase them if they run but my current owners say I have never been aggressive with them. We do not know how I will be with other dogs but I do get very overstimulated when I see one out on walks. I love to play and am described as a power chewer, so ropes and bones would be my favorite. I also love to chase balls but won’t bring them back to you.  I know some of my commands like “sit” and have been working on “leave it”. I could use some help with pulling on the leash during walks as I am a strong boy. I am gentle when taking treats and love when I get a special treat of banana on my food. I love to have wet food mixed in with my dry kibble. I am not only a power chewer but also a power jumper and escape artist, I have jumped over my current owners 4ft chain link fence (I can also climb the chain link as well), so a secured large fenced in yard would be ideal for me, along with someone who can give me plenty of exercise. When I get excited, I like to run around and jump off the ground. I have been known to go through my people’s legs, straight out the front door as well.  They say I should only be with older children as I am fast and strong and could easily knock down a small human. My owners say I also get a little mouthy when excited but I do love to cuddle and be around my humans. I get scared when there is yelling in the home and will run and hide. My perfect forever home will be an active family who has some knowledge of herding breeds that can give me the time for training, structure, and exercise. I am a good boy but will require a lot more physical and mental stimulation to be my absolute best. show less

hello my name is Indi (Lucy) I’m 8-9 months old . I love belly rubs & butt scratches. I am SUPER smart & I love to work & learn new things. If I’m working, I’m happy. I am very interested in water but get a little nervous when it’s bath time. I love sticks when I’m on a walk. I have ALOT of energy & require a lot of attention because I get bored fairly quickly I am really strong & like playing rough, nothing like a good tug-o-war, I get really into it At night & when we wake up I do like cuddles, I like to curl up in a little ball right up against you When I give you my paw it means I would like some lovin please I love car rides I love shoes & socks especially the ones you’re wearing or when you’re trying to put them on. I know how to sit, lay down, “gimme some” (or paw) & I have been working on stay but sometimes I am just so excited I am protective over my food. Because it’s mine. hopefully I’ll learn soon that people don’t want to eat my food . I am sure it’s something I’ll learn I don’t like loud noises, like the vacuum I walk well with a training collar but haven’t quite learned leash manners without one yet. I’m still just a puppy & sometimes I don’t realize how big I am or that my teefers can hurt when we are playing. If I have something I’m not supposed to have, like toilet paper, I respond well when you call my name & tell me to drop it I am crate & potty trained, but it might take some getting used to in a new place. I’m UTD, spayed and microchipped and located in Orlando, Fl. I need to have a fenced in yard to run and play!! I love other dogs but I’m not sure about cats. I will come with free training to my new forever home?????? please share and help me find my home. show less
