About Oswald

Hi, my name is Oswald but you can call me Ozzie. I am a little bit sad. You see, I finally found my forever home a little over a year ago and then recently, my mom passed away.  I am lucky that the rescue has me now and will help me find a new forever home, even though I will never forget my mom.

Here is a little about me:  I am a 6-year-old Lhasa mix and weigh about 25 pounds.  I am more of a ladies man as some men scare me!  I am great with most other dogs but prefer to live with female dogs or being an only dog. As you can see from my pictures, I am fine with cats and older calm kids.  I LOVE to snuggle and want to always be near my person. I am fully house trained.  I would prefer a new Mom who is 50+, but if you are really nice I may like you too! I am allergic to food & treats containing chicken.  So I am wondering, could you help heal my broken heart?

Age: 4 yrs Weight: 45 lbs Reported good with dogs of both genders of similar size This 4-year-old Brown Beauty is Belle. The petite pittie pooch is 50 pounds and is an absolute dream. She looks to her people for love and reassurance because Belle is a bit shy. This may explain why she is a cuddler extraordinaire! There is one thing Belle likes as much as hugs - toys! She loves toys. She loves to chase a toy or ball thrown for her but has not quite mastered the ‘return’ of fetch yet. So cute! Belle loves to be outside and go for car rides. She walks well on a leash and loves to greet people in her neighborhood, though she is still very shy when initially meeting them.  She loves walking in the woods and her confidence has been building while in her new foster home.  While in foster, Belle has learned to use stairs and the awesomeness of a bed.  She loves her fruits and veggies, broccoli and carrots are her favorite.  When she is excited about something (walks, food) she gets chatty but she is typically a quiet girl. Occasionally, this little darling will nibble on a pillow or blanket near her face but her foster redirects the behavior, working to help Belle learn what is off limits.  She is a low maintenance, easy gal. She enjoys leaning against her peeps, and likes a good belly rub. Belle is just such a love. She is a terrific dog and she is ready to be a part of YOUR family. Do you have a soft spot in your heart and your home for Belle? You can apply to adopt Belle at www.mostlymuttz.org/adoption-application/.  show less

Age: 8 yrs Weight: 50 lbs Reported good with dogs of both genders who are smaller than her Reported good with kids of all ages Dorothy is a love bug with the sweetest eyes. She has the most beautiful soft coat of ivory and brown. This 8 year-old, 65-pound sweetheart will melt your heart. She has the cutest butt wiggle and her tail wags all the time. Dorothy wants to be next to you, preferably with her head on your lap or even better, curled up in your lap. She loves to chill on the couch or dog bed, excelling at curling into the tiniest little circle imaginable. She also loves to romp in the grass, where she loves to roll on her back. Dorothy loves children of all ages. She needs slow introductions with other dogs, but has lived in a house with small dogs happily. She might like a slightly larger dog to play tug with. Dori (for short) recently learned to use stairs and she is doing great! She does not like to be confined, such as a crate, because she wants to be with her people or other dogs as much as possible. Dorothy is good as gold around the house if left alone, as she is perfectly house trained with good manners. Dorothy can't click her heels, but she keeps repeating "there's no place like home." Is yours the one she is looking for? You can apply to adopt Dorothy at www.mostlymuttz.org/adoption-application/. show less
