About Eddie

Eddie found himself alone at the emergency clinic in WV after being hit by a car. Unfortunately, his pelvis was injured but after spending some time recovering, the break has healed and he is getting around quite well now. He is ready to find his forever home!

Now that Eddie is feeling better he has lots of energy! He might be over year old but he is still very much a puppy and will need help learning some manners. As you would expect from this breed mix, this guy really loves to work! He has mastered sit, and is working on "stay", "leave it", and "wait".  He's also learned to take his treats "gentle".  He's a quick learner!

Eddie's medium length tri-color fur and beautiful markings will make anyone fall in love with him! This 40-pound pooch is very sweet natured. Eddie is crate and house trained, good with kids (probably best with older kids) and loves to play with other dogs.  He is just looking for the perfect family to scoop him up and give him all their love!

You can apply to adopt Eddie at www.mostlymuttz.org/adoption-application/

Additional adoption criteria:  Any children in the home need to be 12+ years old.
Additional medical information:  Because of how Eddie's hip was damaged, he will have a life-long limp, but that does not stop him in any way!

Adoption Fee: $400

Q-tip is a very unique boy. Before coming into rescue, this boy spent his days crated in a basement. Can you imagine never seeing the light of day or feeling the earth under your feet? Happily, that has all changed for this boy when he was rescued by one of Mostly Muttz Rescue's southern affiliate shelter. Q-tip will love his person, unconditionally, but he needs time to know you are his person. It is understandable. Can you give him that time? Q-tip or just Q is a very sweet older boy. He weighs in at 30 - 35 pounds. He is believed to be a chihuahua mix. At 10 years old he led a hard life of being locked in a dirty cage in a basement. What his WV foster and his PA foster have learned is that he just wants to lay on your lap in a blanket and be loved. What a sweet and beautiful boy! Q-tip will lay on the back of the couch and look out the window and wait for your return, so be sure to leave the blinds up a bit so he can see. He is great on a leash. While walking, fast cars or trucks might scare him, but that is getting less and less. He likes other dogs as long if they are laid back. If the dogs are energetic and right in his face, he will growl and retreat for safety. Q-tip has shown bouts of play, but when it gets too high energy he panics. Cats seem to be a sense of curiosity for him and he is overly curious. If they hiss or swat and hiss at them he may begin to ignore them. He is crate trained, he might whine for less than 5 minutes but will settle after that. He loves ALL people. He no longer has a nervous shake. Do you have room in your home and heart for this special boy? You can apply to adopt Q-Tip at www.mostlymuttz.org/adoption-application/. show less

This very sweet beauty is Rose. She is a petite Pibble/Boxer gal who longs for a home. Rose weighs 40 pounds, has an adorable underbite, and wears a beautiful dark brindle coat. She is the perfect combination of playful at times and calm/cuddly when she’s ready to relax. Rose has good house manners. She is house trained and sits nicely for treats. Rose will walk on a leash, but sometimes she likes to have a good run. Rose loves to play ball, so her ideal home would have a fenced yard and someone who likes to throw a ball. This beauty can be cautious with new people, so proper and slow introductions to new people will be important. Treats can go a long way with her. Once you win her over, she will reward you with tons of affection and love. She will snuggle into your lap and simply melt into it. Rose loves playing with toys, going for walks, and then settling in for a nice nap.  A calm canine companion could help Rose gain confidence with new people, but it would need to be a super laid-back dog. Rose prefers an adult only, quiet home, without alot of people coming and going. Structure is key for her. “What a lovely thing a rose is!" (Sherlock Holmes) It's no mystery, this pitty/boxer gal is as lovely as can be! Is this Rose be just the dog you've been searching for? You can apply to adopt Rose at www.mostlymuttz.org/adoption-application/.  show less
