DOB: 6/22/20 Hello dear cat-lover! My name is Anais. I am a very loving, confident and beautiful girl looking for her forever home. I have black with silky, soft fur. My eyes change color from golden to green depending on the light.    I really enjoy playing with my siblings and with my toys. I get along well with boy and girl kitties and I am good with kids too.    I LOVE lounging on my humans' laps and getting pettings. I also like giving you kisses and I purr loudly to show you my appreciation when you pet me. Sometimes I start purring even without you petting me. My foster mom calls me a purr machine.   I was born in a trash bin in Boyle Heights. A nice young woman rescued me, my mom and siblings and got us into Kitten Rescue LA's foster program. I know I am so lucky for having gotten into foster care and I very much hope my luck continues and I find my purr-ever loving home. Given how young and energetic I am, I need to be adopted by a pet parent who already has a kitty to play with me or who is adopting another kitty along with me. I would make a great pair along with one of my siblings (Delphine, Valentin or Lucas) since we already know and love each other but it is not a must.   Kisses and Purrs, Anais If you are interested in learning more about this kitty or in adopting her, please click here to email her foster parent. If you are unable to send an email to the foster parent through the link included above, please contact us and let us know what kitty you're interested in.  You may also fill out our adoption questionnaire to speed up the screening process.  Be sure to name the cat in the CAT PREFERENCE field at the beginning of the questionnaire. DOB: 6/18/20 Anton is a tiny happy floof ball who had a rough beginning living on the streets. He was found near-lifeless lying in an alley behind a seafood market in Panorama City and was diagnosed with both a bad respiratory infection and flea-bite anemia. Foster mom took him in and after a bath, medication, and TLC, he has shined up like a new penny. He doesn't realize his size and has no problem chasing and wrestling with bigger kitties. When he isn't sprawled out hogging the cat bed, his favorite place to lay is on top of the toilet tank! He is a big fan of Tiki Cat Stix treats, feather wand toys, and batting around balled up paper towels. Anton is a very playful little boy so he must be adopted with another kitten, like foster mates Randy or Brad Hamilton (also his orange brother, Amos, will be available soon) or go to a home with a young, energetic resident cat.  If you are interested in learning more about this kitty or in adopting him, please click here to email his foster parent. DOB: 3/23/2018 & 4/17/2020 Babka and Spatchka are a mom and daughter pair rescued out of a palm tree in someone’s backyard. They are extremely affectionate, loving girls who cuddle and play together constantly. Both of them purr on contact, and love being picked up and cuddled. Babka (the mom) gets along with mild mannered cats but is very bad with dogs. Spatchka (the daughter) gets along with absolutely everyone. We don’t know anything about Babka’s background, but judging from her attitude towards food, we can surmise that she was taught survival skills from a bunch of raccoons living in a dumpster. This otherwise mild mannered and dainty lady becomes a fiend in the presence of food, so one might want to either be careful eating around her or be willing to share. She’s not picky; at her current foster home, she has helped herself to grilled zucchini, almond croissants, pizza, French fries, and other things not normally found in the feline diet. Maybe she’ll grow out of it over time, but if not, her foster parents want her future adopters to always remember that sharing is caring. These two cats had it pretty rough when they were fending for themselves on the street, but are an absolutely wonderful pair who will liven up any home. DOB: 4/15/20 Basil and Nutmeg are bonded brothers that are extremely affectionate and love to cuddle. Nutmeg is the runt so he is a little smaller than his brother and they have different personalities - Nutmeg is a total love bug that likes everyone at first sight. He will climb into your lap or lie across your neck, and cuddle.  He will meow at you if you ignore his cuddle request. Basil wants you to earn his love and affection and once you do, he turns into an adorable little purr machine.  Basil and Nutmeg like to spend their days first and foremost, cuddling with humans. Yes, they do like to play and wrestle and nap together, but cuddling or being petted is their top priority.  Oh! And they are fascinated by videos for cats on YouTube. They are both huge fans of treats - especially shredded chicken or Gerber Chicken and Gravy baby food.  You are invited to meet these cutie pies and see if they are the right fur babies for you.  If you are interested in learning more about these kitties or in adopting them, please click here to email their foster parent. DOB: 4/6/16 He cuddles hard and sleeps harder. This guy loves to eat and knows that being bigger means there’s more to love! Big Mac is a larger cat but don’t let his size fool you, he will always love laying on laps and is basically a giant kitten. He will share a pillow with you at night and truly just enjoys laying close to people. He is not the biggest fan of kisses but loves the pets and to be carried around like a baby. Big Mac has a big heart and a playful personality, he plays with toys, enjoys looking out the kitty tv/window, the best human supervisor while they work, lives for treats and cat nip but is very quiet and gentle. A gentle giant who is a lover not a fighter. He hopes the perfect human(s) come along and fall in love with him as he falls for you. DOB: 7/2/20 What’s better than peanut butter and jelly? Or sugar and spice? How about Blue Ivy and Finneas! Blue Ivy is gray/white and Finneas is a brown/white tabby. This dynamic duo is ready to jump on your couch, sleep on your head, and give your life that bit of sparkle. Just don’t let Blue Ivy have any coffee. She might saunter up to your cup and stick her entire head in, but that doesn’t mean you should indulge her. While Miss Ivy is at (or on) the breakfast table, Mister Finn is probably curled up on the couch waiting for you to pick him up. Finneas is the kind of kitten you can pick up and reenact that iconic scene from the Lion King with and then put him on your shoulder for a ride around the house while he kneads your shoulder. Blue Ivy needs to be treated with more subtlety. She will make biscuits on your pants, sleep in your arms, and purr into your ear but only when she wants to. She’s spoiled like that. These two are a treat to watch play together. The drama, backstabbing, and gymnastics of kitten playtime is an amazing boredom buster.    Blue Ivy and Finneas were raised in an energetic household full of other cats, people, and even a dog. They’re great at navigating new environments and will do well in almost any home. Their foster mom bribed an 8-year-old with candy to socialize them, so they’re also good with kids. These two are completely bonded and MUST be adopted together.    To see more of Blue Ivy & Finneas’s story check them out on @sunshine_fostering on Instagram If you are interested in learning more about these kitties or in adopting them, please click here to email their foster parent.
