About Zippy

Zippy is a quick little puppy as you might guess by her name. She loves to play, chew on toys, and snuggle too. She is tiny and sweet, but also fierce. She will hold her ground and let her siblings or other dogs know if she doesn't like something. Zippy can be a bit shaky and shy at first, but warms up quickly. She is quite agile and can climb the corner of an X-pen like a ladder. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Fawn Weight: 2.5 Age: 0yrs 0mths 11wks

Animal's Name: AndyAnimal ID Number: 179936What should your foster's bio say? I'll come running to greet you with my purr-motor going strong! If you're looking for a sweet, curious and energetic playmate, I'm your guy! I love chasing balls across the floor and playing with my toys. I'm getting used to my foster mom's small dog and adult cat. I like to be held and you'll hear me purring my contentment. When I'm tired, I'll curl up on your lap or in my bed and recharge for my next play session. Won't you take me home so we can play and cuddle together? How does your cat react when being held? How does your cat feel about being picked up? Andy doesn't mind being held or picked up. If there's something else interesting going on, though, he might squirm to get down. How do they play with you? Andy likes to chase balls and bat at his cat teaser toy. He is very playful and energetic. He also loves his cardboard scratching ramp. What is their behavior like with new people and/or children? : Andy enjoys playing with my 15 year-old son. He has not met any younger children. Due to COVID, we haven't introduced Andy to anyone outside of our immediate family. He's so curious and sociable, though, that I think he'd be fast friends with almost anyone. What is their behavior like with other animals? Andy is curious and interested in my small dog. They've touched noses and sniffed each other. Andy has begun to play with my older cat. What kind of litter box setup did you have for your cat? How would you describe their success using the litter box? Andy is a litter box champ! He's never had an accident. I have a litter box with a top and swinging door. I've used both clay litter and the clumping kind (Slide) and he does great with both.Is there anything else that you would like the new adopter to know about this cat, such as any special tricks or adorable traits?Andy is always ready for a play session! When I open the door, he's up and running toward me with his purr-motor going strong. He's so much fun and a real sweetheart.Andy has been fostered with Barney (180126). They are good buddies and it would be great if they were adopted together. If it's not possible, they will be fine on their own. Hi, I'm Brinny and I want to be your 24/7 cuddle buddy and exercise companion. I love keeping you company while you work by sitting on your lap, but I'm always ready for a walk, a run, or a crazy zoomie session. I especially love sitting on your lap with my head in the crook of your elbow and my tummy in the air, waiting for tummy rubs. I can be shy at first, but once you've won my heart, I'll drape myself over your arms, cuddle, kiss, and beg for tummy rubs. My foster mom says I'm already acing my potty training and crate training at night. My ideal family will spend a lot of time with me at home-- I want to be with you 24/7 and I'm going to need some time, patience, and practice to be left alone without you. I may do better with a quiet home with adults or older kids. I believe Brinny already has familiarity with potty training. She does not signal when she needs to go out, but I take her out several times per day and she does her business. If she doesn't go, getting her moving (10min walk) tends to help. Her only accident was on her first morning when I let her out of the crate but didn't rush her outside. Getting her outside as soon as she's out of the crate has worked perfectly.Brinny does seem to naturally like "dens" but because she traveled home in the crate, was initially hesitant of confinement. We started with the base and top tied open and lots of treats and praise for going inside. She's continued to get her meals, kongs, and surprise find-its in her crate. She has slept in the crate every night. Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: Cream Weight: 10.31 Age: 2yrs 0mths 2wks show less
