AMBER is one of three 10-12 week old kittens rescued from the streets. These sisters are named after gemstones because they are all precious little jewels! Amber is a rare, exquisite “dilute” calico - her fur has the colors of light gray, pale orange and beige fluffy fur. She’s very sweet, gentle, quiet, well-behaved and laid back. She loves to play and pounce on toys especially her track toy (see movie). She gets along with other cats and loves to cuddle. She was the first of the sisters to warm up to her foster mom and allow petting right away. Now, she follows her foster mom all over the house. She would love to be adopted with one of her sisters - Jade or Pearl - or with another gentle cat already in the adoptive home. AMBER has been given her first set of vaccinations and worming meds, screened negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, microchipped and will be spayed in the near future. Interested in adopting AMBER? Contact adoptmekitten@aol.com or 610-506-9270 - include your name, phone number, email address, and a little bit about yourself. Please mention that you’re interested in Amber. An adoption application process is required. Please note, we do not usually adopt young kittens to adopters with young children. We do not place cats with high school, college students or students living in dorms or group housing. Our adoption region is primarily Philadelphia, PA and it’s suburban areas. The adoption fee is $80. show less

MASON and his brother PERRY are 5-month-old, Bombay mix kittens that were rescued. PERRY was healthy but MASON’s eyes were badly infected and had to be surgically removed. MASON IS BLIND.  By using his other senses - hearing, smell, taste, and touch - MASON navigates very well around the house while PERRY lovingly watches over him. They play, cuddle, explore, and love people! They have NEVER been and must NEVER be separated. Despite being blind, MASON likes to be in charge of where he goes and how he gets there. If his foster mom sits down, calls him and pats her lap so he can hear where she is, he comes running over, climbs into her lap, or climbs on her shoulder and sits there. Sometimes he stands on her lap and gives her hugs and kisses.  Then, PERRY runs over to sit with them and gives kisses too. These two precious boys are irrevocably bonded and love their foster mom. PERRY and MASON are happy, healthy, playful, loving, purry kitties, and are always together, sleeping together on top of the cat tree, chasing the same toy, and eating at the same time. They require a quiet environment - no young children or dogs - with people who can spend a lot of time helping MASON by teaching him about the obstacles he might encounter, the location of his litter box(es), food and water dishes, as well as furniture. It’s critical that these items remain in permanent locations, at least until he’s comfortable with his new family and home. PERRY and MASON must NEVER be allowed outdoors and their family must insure that they are protected from getting out or other accidents of any kind. PERRY and MASON have been neutered, microchipped, tested (all negative results), and vaccinated. They are located in Beach Haven Terrace on Long Beach Island, NJ.  A meetup or transport may be arranged to Manahawkin, Stafford or Barnegat NJ as well as possibly to the Philadelphia, PA  region. To adopt, please contact adoptmekitten@aol.com or call 610-506-9270 - leave a message with your name, phone number, and email address. An adoption application will be emailed to you as part of our screening process. A vet reference and landlord approval is required. The tax deductible donation for both kittens together is $120. show less

They play, cuddle, explore,  and love people! They have NEVER been and must NEVER be separated. PERRY is cuddly and super curious - always wanting to see what his beloved foster mom is doing as if he wants to help her out. He chases squeaky mouse toys and bats at the balls in their tracking toy. PERRY likes watching TV - especially basketball and car racing. He goes to the TV screen and chases the athletes or cars as if he’s trying to catch them!
