About Blanca

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Coming Soon - Sweet Senior GirlBlanca will be available for adoption after July 29th.   7 years old and 9 pounds, Blanca was found on the street in Fremont bleeding from the nose, terrified, and very thin.  She started out very shy and timid, and is still cautious, she has definitely come out of her shell and has bonded with both her foster parents and siblings (two small dogs). She quickly caught on to going potty outside though she still has accidents from time to time. Blanca is intelligent and quick to adapt. She enjoys short walks and sunbathing as well as treats and naps. Blanca will do well in a quiet home with or without other polite dogs. Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heart worm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and micro-chipped.   Adoption fees for dogs: http://www.svpetproject.org/info/adoption Stay up-to-date on what our dogs are up to by following us on Facebook!  https://www.facebook.com/svpetprojectVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Nala is a 6 year old, 13.4 pound female miniature schnauzer-mix.  This sweet, adorable little bundle of love will need special care as she has chronic hypoglycemia, and needs to be fed small amounts of food every few hours to modulate her persistently low glucose levels.  Nala has a history of seizures, likely caused by her low glucose, but feeding Nala small amounts every few hours has helped to manage her condition. She also takes medication for her condition and will need ongoing monthly vet visits to manage her condition.    Nala loves being around her people,  getting back and belly rubs, belly and is ready to snuggle on your lap or nearby. She is playful with her toys and loves frequent short walks.  She’s an easy going dog, and is vocal only when she is excited about going out for a walk. She bonds deeply with her primary caregiver. She has a lot of love to give!   Ok with small and large dogs, ok with considerate kids, and all adults, good for seniorelderly, apartment appropriate.  Nala is leash trained, does well in the car, likes toys, will need grooming, playful, affectionate, intelligent, gentle and knows basic commands and is treat motivated. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Such a Gentleman! Simba is looking for his forever home! Simba LOVES toys, Kongs and balls, is eager to learn, loves a good sniff walk or a ride in the car, and is always ready for a cuddle. He s a wonderful outdoor dining companion, as he is a gentleman in public. Simba is working on his leash skills and will benefit from continued training. He gets very excited when seeing cats, squirrels, and dogs while walking. He knows several commands, including sit, down, stay, shake, kennel, go to your bed, and come.   Simba is a talker. He can be vocal when seeing other dogs or wants your attention. He is happiest when he is with his people. Simba can be an only dog, but would also do well with another large dog. He is quite friendly and calm when properly introduced.   Simba has been working with his foster mom, who is a dog trainer, and he will benefit from continued, high quality training. Simba had a few teeth pulled recently, but this has not slowed him down in the least!
