About Joey & Phoebe

This is Phoebe and Joey, they are brother and sister going on 6 months. Phoebe loves her brother very much because Joey is blind. She might play with others during the day but she NEVER sleeps away from him. She knows he needs her. Both are smart and athletic and love life. Momma had two blind pups, and she managed to kill one and we managed to save one. When Joey came on board he still had marks on his skull where momma tried to prevent him from having a terrible and difficult life. But he survived and we will make sure he has the best life his momma wanted for him, alongside his sister for ever. If you are interested in adopting these two wonderful pups together please go to our website to fill out an application. They must be adopted together. Phoebe: Phoebe is a 6 month old mix of medium size. She is a complete snuggle bug and energetic girl! After a full day of playing with her brother Joey or with toys she likes nothing more than to curl up with you on the couch and snuggle up to you. She plays well with other dogs and is fairly active. She is very treat motivated and has learned to use a doggie door, although she is still learning potty training. She's very brave and is usually the one leading her brother Joey around when they explore. She loves to be near her humans so she can give them lots of kisses! Joey JoJo as I've come to call him is a totally sweet goofball! He's extremely smart and loving and doesn't let his blindness slow him down one bit! After only a few weeks he's mentally mapped out our house, mastered stairs, and the doggie door. He takes a lot of cues from his sister Phoebe and verbal or other noises. He is also a big snuggler and often will try to find a spot where he can rest his head on your legs. He plays extremely well with his sister and other dogs. Although shy or hesitant at first once he learns where furniture is and what different people sound like he warms right up and can often be found generally bumping into your legs to follow you around the house. Both dogs have been completly loving sweethearts and will dote on any family lucky enough to adopt them!
