We're performing meet & greets outdoors wearing N95 masks and maintaining social distancing. If interested in Andre here's the steps: 1. Read his bio carefully. Adult only home required. 2. Fill out an adoption app from our website here (copy & paste into your browser): https://www.animalalliancesd.org/adoption 3. We'll then contact you within 48 hours if we think you and Andre are a great match. Not hearing from us just means we don't think you and Andre are a great fit or not the best fit of those applications we've received---it doesn't mean you wouldn't provide him with a good home. Due to the popularity of his breed we anticipate dozens of applications. Please note our adoption decisions are based on what's in the best interest of our animals. We're a small volunteer-based and may not be able to respond to all inquires. _________________________________________________________ Andre our Mini Schnoodle is... • Very affectionate • Lapdog • Quiet most of the time • Gets along with other small dogs in his foster home but doesn't play with them - he's more into getting your love • Walks well on a leash • Leary of strangers at first but warms up quickly - newcomers must go slow • Adult only home required • Wants to be with you - Velcro dog • Great companion • Doesn't pay attention to the parrots in his foster home • Hasn't been with cats under our care so we don't know how he is with them • Housetrained and not a marker but his foster mom has a doggie door so Andre may not know how to ask to go out. Adopters should be prepared to take him out frequently at first just like any new dog. • Miniature Poodle/Schnauzer mix. Has hair more like a Poodle's but facial features like a Schnauzer except his nose is a little longer. He doesn't bark much but when he does you can hear the Schnauzer in it. • Neutered male • Up-to-date on vaccinations • Microchipped • 16 lbs • 2 years old • Healthy • Adopters must reside in San Diego County (sorry, no exceptions) • All medical paperwork provided • Adoption fee $450 show less

NOTE: We're performing meet & greets outdoors wearing N95 masks and maintaining social distancing. If interested in Puffy here's the steps: 1. Read his bio carefully. Puffy must have a one person adult only home and a private fenced yard. 2. Fill out an adoption app from our website here (copy & paste into your browser): https://www.animalalliancesd.org/adoption 3. We'll then contact you within 48 hours if we think you and Puffy are a great match. Not hearing from us doesn't mean you'd be a bad adopter---it just means we don't think you & Puffy are a great fit or the best fit of all the applications we've received. We often get multiple applications for our dogs. Please note our adoption decisions are based on what's in the best interest of our dogs. We're a small volunteer-based and may not be able to respond to all inquires. _________________________________________________________ We named Puffy after Puff the Magic Dragon. He's as sweet as a cream puff too. Puffy is... • Super affectionate • Lapdog • Cuddly • Adorable • Happy-go-lucky • Velcro dog • LOVES toys • Can be an energizer bunny but calms down easily especially if held • Playful • Entertaining • Gets very protective of his beloved human's lap if someone else approaches. Due to this behavior, he's not suitable to travel with you everywhere, and must have a one person adult only home. • Very demanding of attention so would be best as the only dog • Needs a fenced-in private yard • Walks well on a leash • Loves his walks • Non-shedding so he's a good choice for people who don't want fur on their furniture but he does require regular grooming. • Housetrained • Knows how to use a doggie door • Hasn't been with cats under our care so we don't know how he is with them. • Lives in a foster home with parrots and doesn't pay attention to them • Does not like the Doberman in his foster home but gets along with small dogs there fine • Toy Poodle/Maltese mix. Has thick hair of a Toy Poodle but it's not quite as curly. • Neutered male • Up-to-date on vaccinations • Microchipped • 9.7 lbs • 3 years old • Recently had a teeth cleaning by our vet • Healthy • Adopters must reside in San Diego County (sorry, no exceptions) • All medical paperwork provided • Adoption fee $325 Other videos (copy & paste into your browser): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yl_2ZbBNMEM&list=UUiOCLnrG7w8TC9NUpt-GaPw&index=2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0HdGz3lEtk&list=UUiOCLnrG7w8TC9NUpt-GaPw&index=189 9 show less
