About Stetson

**** PLEASE NOTE: **** We receive a large number of inquiries. You MUST fill out an adoption application on our website in order to get a response from us. Do not click the button on this page! Adoption application link: https://www.footbridgefoundation.org/application/  Without an application, we will not contact you back. Thank you for following our necessary steps to get answers to your questions. We appreciate it! Stetson, a darling brown tabby kitty with tufted feet and a fluffy tail, was found in a maintenance closet at an apartment complex crying his eyes out. He’s an 11-month-old domestic medium hair tabby cat. Once he was rescued and vetted, it was discovered his lower eyelashes were scraping his corneas, causing him a terrible amount of pain. On Giving Tuesday (May 5, 2020), we were able to raise the funds for his entropian surgery to correct his eye problem. Now, he’s healed and feeling better than ever! Stetson is super loving and enjoys being with other cats - he does not like dogs. He’s FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, neutered, on flea prevention, and ready to be adopted.

Adoption application link: https://www.footbridgefoundation.org/application/  Without an application, we will not contact you back. Thank you for following our necessary steps to get answers to your questions. We appreciate it! Hope, who is three months old now, came to us as our first bottle baby of the 2020 season in March. She was found in the street in the rain by a Good Samaritan and brought to a vet clinic where Kate, one of our fosters, works. Kate rushed this tiny baby to Erin and Matt, who bathed her to get all the fleas off and quickly got her into their incubator. Matt is a veterinarian. Erin is a vet technician. And they are our neonatal experts. They have an incubator and have saved many kittens. Over the last several weeks, Erin and Matt have cared for Hope and our amazing Footbridge Foundation supporters and fans participated in a donation and naming contest during which Hope’s name was drawn at random from the suggested names we received. But, the name suits her perfectly. We had hope she would recover from the dire circumstances in which she was found. And, she gives us hope for the future. Hope is now perfectly healthy! She’s FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, on flea prevention, spayed, and she’s ready to be adopted! show less
