"MEOW! Thank you for stopping by to read about me! I recently joined the adoptable kitty crew at Providence Animal Center's lifesaving facility from an overcrowded shelter in West Virginia. I am looking for my forever home and hopefully that's with you! My bags are packed and I am move in ready - I am up to date on my vaccines, spayed, litterbox-trained, microchipped & 2 years old! I am described as: shy, sweet, gentle and sensitive. The staff feels I would do well living with children middle school aged and older. I have met some cats here at the center and I could probably live with a kitty roommate if we are given a slow and proper introduction. Once I have warmed up to you, I will lean into you for pets and begin to purr.If you are interested in learning more about me or interested in adopting me, please email my friend Amber (aloro@providenceac.org) a completed adoption profile (https://providenceac.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Adoption-Profile.pdf). Brûlée is an approximately 2-3-year-old Floridian who wants to retire to a quiet home. This striking beauty hears with her heart; she's deaf, and because of her disability, she can be defensive and shy with new people and pets. Brûlée is a simple girl: her favorite things include her green puff bed, watching the world go by outside the window, a short head rub session post-breakfast and a late evening snack. Brûlée could live in a home with another mellow pet or two - she seems to prefer dogs to cats. It takes Brûlée a while to warm up, so her new home should be very patient and respectful of her disability, willing to go slow and be experienced with integrating a new cat into the home. She is the package deal:up-to-date on her vaccinesspayedlitterbox-trainedmicrochippedSo, if you'd like to learn more about her or are interested in adopting, please email a completed adoption profile (https://providenceac.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Adoption-Profile.pdf) to her foster momma Justina - jcalgiano@providenceac.org"*Please check our website for PAC-related updates regarding COVID-19*Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! "Are you the nice person that I keep hearing about who is going to come and adopt me?? Ohhhh I sure hope so! My name is Cosmo and it is so nice to meet you over this bright screen you humans call the "computer." I came to Providence Animal Center from overcrowded ACCT Philly when my previous owner could no longer take care of me. I am an older distinguished gentleman (if I do say so myself) - around 13 years old, who is in search of a fur-ever home that I can retire in. I am currently hanging out in a loving foster home, getting all of the TLC I need. As you can see in my profile picture - I am quite the couch potato and love to snuggle on the couch. My foster family says that I walk well on the leash. I will thrive in a home where I can be around adults who understand my needs and wants. I lived with 4 cats in my previous home - so I could live with a kitty cat roommate. My bags are packed and I am move in ready, I am: neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and 15 pounds.I'm an Angel Pet, which means I have underlying medical conditions - seizures, a heart murmur and partially blind & deaf. I'm searching for a special forever home that understands my medical needs and will stand by me for the rest of my life. Although my long-term prognosis is unknown, I continue to hold my head up high, live in the moment, and keep on searching for the loving home that I deserve. If you are interested in learning more about me or want to adopt me, please email foster@providenceac.org a completed adoption profile (https://providenceac.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Adoption-Profile.pdf). "Hi, my name is Deena, but here at the center people like to call me "Little Miss Deena, Dee Dee and Deenie Deen." I am 3 and a half years old and 42 pounds of spunk. I just love attention and making the humans around me super happy! They say I am a comedian and quite the socialite!I love affection - getting & giving. I would like nothing more than to cuddle up next to my very own human all night long. In my ideal home, I'd love to be able to play, go for long walks and get lots of puzzle toys to keep me busy and occupied. My home could also have a doggie pal that likes my WWF wrestling play style...much like one of my bestest friends, Charlie Brown, who just found his forever home (yay!!). We used to play together all the time, and while I'll miss him, I know I'll make lots of new friends. As for humans, I'll be most comfortable in an adult-only home, and if I haven't mentioned it, I just don't understand cats - so a kitty-free home for me, please!. I'm looking for a home that has plenty of space indoors & outdoors - I can't live in an apartment! At PAC I get to participate in training classes, and I love them since I love to work for treats and also love being around the other dogs. I get to go on adventures too, like going to the drive thru for ice cream or to the park. I like car rides and would love to be your co-pilot! Don't I seem AWESOME?!Plus, I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped AND my adoption fee is also sponsored! Please don't keep me waiting too long. I am patiently and eagerly looking forward to meeting you!If you would like to learn more about me or are interested in adopting me, email a completed adoption profile (https://providenceac.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Adoption-Profile.pdf) to srementer@providenceac.org.Much love ~ DeenaP.S. Howdy there! My name is Foots. You may think that name is not very glamorous, but I think it's full of personality - like me! My whole world was turned upside down when my previous family could no longer care for me. Luckily, my friends at Providence Animal Center brought me into their safe haven, and have been giving me the love, patience, and space I need to be my amazing self. I am approximately 8 years old and 105 pounds of handsomeness. My ideal family will be an adult-only family with large breed experience and want to give me a comfortable couch to retire to. I absolutely love being outside, and went on a 5-mile walk over Mother's Day weekend. I even enjoyed the car ride there. Of course, I also love to lounge in a comfortable spot close to my loved ones. My bags are packed and I am move in ready, I am: neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. And the best part is one of my volunteer friends here at the center has sponsored my adoption fee - which means I can join your family for FREE! Which is great because then you can buy me all of the treats and toys a guy like me deserves. Here are some of the things he wants to pass along:-I'm fun-loving, was great with dogs and love to give kisses.-I have lots of energy (I'm a young pup!) but I also enjoy curling up on the couch for a nap, and I LOVED sleeping in bed with my foster dad.-One of my favorite things with him was to be held like a baby.-I was doing great with crate training and housetraining.-I was good on a leash, and I know sit, come and my name!So do I sound like your new BFF??! ~ SMC (Single Male Canine) in search of lifelong companion ~"JJ here! I am a 1-ish year old, large build (84 lbs.) city of brotherly love boy looking for his soulmate.Should enjoy long walks on the beach and parks and hiking.A couch to snuggle on would be most excellent.Need to have a love of food, or just enjoy cooking...for me!Appreciate a fun loving, comedic personality- I'll keep you in stitches.A companion that will be completely in awe of my intelligence and ability to sit, down and catching treats would be an added bonus.I spent some time in a foster home hanging out with a dog foster sibling. We loved to play, romp around, go on walks and snuggle together. So, I am open to the idea of sharing my perfect person with another pup. But those felines...no thank you! I would do best in a home with older children - high school aged and older. My foster mom reported that I am doing well with crate training and house training. I sleep all through the night in my crate and I enjoy hanging out in there if I'm not on the couch - it's my safe space. Also, I should mention - I am up to date on my vaccines, neutered, microchipped AND I am sponsored, which means someone has generously paid for my adoption fee. That will free up a lot of money for treats and toys. I am an all-around catch! If you'd like to "swipe right" (you know you wanna), please send a completed adoption application (https://providenceac.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Adoption-Profile.pdf) to my pal Carolyn - cmuller@providenceac.org today. Can't wait to make a love connection!Love,JJ show less

Hiya! Have you ever seen a dog as adorable as me?! Can you believe I'm homeless and am waiting for a wonderful person or family to adopt me?My name is Jolie, and soon after I made the trip from Georgia to Providence Animal Center, the PAC team discovered that I was carrying puppies! Fast forward a few months, the puppies are all grown up, now it's my turn to find my own loving home. Could this be with you?I'm a little over 2 years old, about 54 pounds, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. I'm lucky to still be staying in a lovely foster home where I raised my pups while I wait for my forever family. Here's what my foster mom has to say about me:"Jolie is a friendly mellow dog who will make a great pet for a household looking for sensitive, smart and loyal companion. In general she is very calm at home and happy waiting by the door for you to come home or sitting next to you to watch a movie. She is a big dog who loves going on walks and has become a good walker, with no pulling. She recently had puppies and was an excellent mother, welcoming to houseguests and those coming over to meet her puppies. When people engage with her she is playful but not rough. She is house trained and could probably do well with a doggy door or learning to signal when she needs to go out as she enjoys being out in the yard where she can run around."Sounds pretty great, right?! I already know how to sit and catching treats in the air or hanging out in the grass are my favorites.  My friends here at PAC say that I can live with the right doggy pal but can not live with cats. Likely I'll do well living with humans of any age." Well, I am currently available and if you're interested in more information about me and/or would like to set up a meeting with me, please send a completed adoption profile to foster@providenceac.org today. We hope to hear from you soon! XO ~Jolie" show less

Lovely Laurie is in search of her forever home, could that be with you? This petite gal came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky. She was quite shut down and afraid when she got to us. But luckily Laurie has a lot of volunteers and staff members who are on her team to help her learn that this world is not so scary. One of our awesome volunteers was able to give Laurie a break from the shelter and foster her during the pandemic. She is making great strides in her foster home. Laurie seems to be more comfortable around females. She follows her foster mom around and enjoys sitting next to her as she works from home. Laurie could live with high school aged kids and older. She'll do best in a calm and quiet home (no city or apartment life for this gal) where she can shine as the only pet. She is around 26 pounds and 1 year old. Laurie is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Her foster home has a fenced in yard that she really enjoys - so this is a requirement for her forever home. She gets so excited about being outside that she runs "zoomies" at an incredible speed around the yard and then she simply enjoys lounging in the sun. Laurie loves going on walks and her foster mom says she is totally in her element walking 2-3 miles a day. Her new quarantine hobby she has picked up is yoga. She loves lounging on her foster mom's mat and doing her best downward dog. Laurie is crate trained - she looks for her crate when she is overwhelmed and sleeps through the night in it. She is working on house training. Her foster mom says she requires a lot of patience, love, and quiet time, but has a lot of love to give back.If you are interested in learning more about Laurie or are interested in adopting her, please submit a completed adoption profile (https://providenceac.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Adoption-Profile.pdf) to her BFF Sarah smergliano@providenceac.org P.S.
