This dog is currently living in a foster home and is still available for adoption! Learn more about this pet by reading their adoption bio below. This special gal has been through a lot the last six months; she has spent a lot of that time here at our shelter waiting for the right family to scoop her up. She's gone on a few 'sleepovers' with foster parents who just sing her praises and keeping hoping to find the perfect match. Bella can be an excitable gal; she's strong, can get mouthy when really worked up and needs someone who knows how to help her channel that energy into appropriate outlets. She loves toys but needs to learn some impulse control and how to drop them nicely. Bella is smart and food motivated which means she can learn a lot from someone with the patience and know how. Bella would need a slow introduction to any other dogs in the home, and she'll do best in a home without any small children (due to her size and energy) or animals (due to her prey drive; mind your mops and brooms too as she considers them something to pounce upon). Yes Bella needs some focused work but boy oh boy is she worth it! Her snuggly, sweet personality has melted hearts all over this shelter and beyond! To see Bella in action, follow her Instagram page here: https://www.instagram.com/chicago_fosterdog_bella/ show less
