Right before making his way to SNIPSA, Copper was attacked by a snake! As he was making his way to the car from the rural shelter, a snake came up and bit Copper on both rear legs. We rushed him back to us, already creating plans with veterinarians on how to acquire anti-venom in case it was a rattle snake. Thankfully, the snake bites were not venomous and by the next day, the swelling had subsided and Copper was perfectly fine! But wow, what a way to make an entrance, am I right? With his long, soft coat and sweet eyes, Copper steals your hearts as he saunters up to you. As fast as a flick of his tail, this gentle boy is laying beside you with his head in your lap. He loves to be snuggled and can spend the afternoon laying on the floor as you brush his long coat. Copper is an easy going boy, enjoys walks around the neighborhood, and crates well. He seems to be house trained and likes to spend his days lying on the cool tile floors while he waits for you to get home. Copper gets along well with other dogs and will hang out alongside the cat all day long while you’re at work. But at the end of the day, Copper has eyes for you. If you’re looking for that loving companion to join you for walks or relax on the couch with, Copper is the one for you! Fill out an application for Copper today at www.snipsa.org show less
