About Brownie

It's me - Brownie.  I'm a 5 year-old, 70-pound Weimaraner mix.  I was surrendered by my owner becasue their job kept them too busy and they didn't have the time for me.  I have lots of energy and am a very strong girl.  I'm friendly to other dogs but like to play, so senior dogs probably aren't the right fit for me.  I'm house-broken and crate-trained.  I'm happy and wiggly and just waiting for someone that wants to spend time playing with me.  I recently had to have a little tumor on my belly removed and my new owner will want to make sure they keep up with checking to make sure I don't get any more.  I'm up to date on my vaccines, am spayed and ready for adoption.  I will need someone that will help me walk nicely on leash and I jump up when I'm excited.  Come meet me in Houston. ##525756##

My name is Molly and I am a 9-year-old sweet, loving blue girl. I came into rescue as an owner surrender because my family moved and I was not allowed to live indoors- and while I like the outdoors, I love to be inside with my peeps (human and four legged ones) and sleeping in my warm bed at night.  Speaking of beds, I usually turn in around 8:00 PM- a quick pit-stop around 10:00 and then I am out for the night!  I am not a particularly early riser- and patiently wait for breakfast until my foster mom has finished her first cup of coffee.  I am a real lady- I do not jump up on people, counter surf, get in garbage or get on the furniture.  I am completely housebroken and do not require to be crated when left alone.  I am great with kids and dogs of any size and kind but would also be perfectly happy being an “only child”.  I can adjust to any lifestyle- active or more laid back. I probably sound too good to be true-and for the most part I am.  Sometimes however, I don’t always wear my “listening ears” and may not come when called- especially if I see a pesky squirrel or some other critter stealing bird food from the feeders.  I am getting better though as I am settling into a new life.  Health wise I am pretty good shape. I recently had eye surgery for some scar tissue that had built up due a previous surgery.  I have some vision loss with dry eye syndrome and do need daily eye drops.  I will be ready for my furever home in February and am being fostered in the Houston area. ##528893## show less

Hello my name is Rowdy. I am about 9-years-old and am hoping my forever family is out there. Almost 2 yrs ago I was living on the streets when all of a sudden someone picked me up to take me to the doctor. I looked pretty bad when I first came to rescue. Turns out I have a brown and black brendle coat. I also have these big, beautiful, brown soulful eyes. So I may not be all weimie but I am all cuteness.I was HW+ but have gone through treatment for those pesky worms. I also have what my doctor says is advanced hip dysplasia. However it doesn't keep me from cruising around the house. My foster mom gives me chewing supplements everyday. I feel great!I’m a very chill boy. I like to drag my blanket and pillow around with me. I even carry it outside. I used to live with two foster brothers, and it was fine. I do like my space though. I think I would be best with older more calm dogs that don't jump on me. I don’t need to go in a kennel when you leave the house. I just lay down and wait for you to come home. I don’t like to go upstairs though. I’m good with a few steps but not a second floor area, ya know bc of my hips. I have been in rescue for 565 days.....that’s a really long time. My foster mom is amazing but nothing beats having a family that is all yours. Please consider an older guy like me. I am being fostered in the DFW area. Love, Rowdy ##197448## show less
