About Boo

This dog is being fostered in La Honda. PLEASE READ HIS FULL BIO FOR MORE DETAILS, I bet all your questions will be answered!   TO ADOPT: FILL OUT ADOPTION APPLICATION AT TCRESCUE.COM/ADOPT  Boo is: •             Smart & clever •             Responds well to reward based, positive training and feedback •             Knows his commands & is a quick learner •             Great for a home filled with LOVE & KINDNESS •             Very sweet & loving & super affectionate •             Housetrained •             Gets along with other dogs I am Boo! I am an energetic boy, about 1 ½ - 2 years old, 87% American Staffordshire Terrier.  I am a big boy, at ~58 lbs. I came from a family that could no longer afford to keep me and unfortunately, I was abandoned in the woods for over a week – that was super scary!  Luckily my foster Mom found me and I have been loved – and even arranged for me to have professional training so that I can be my best self! I love to play with my toys and chew on my nylabones.   I would love a fur sibling (maybe a girl!) my size or bigger to play with in a fenced yard so I can play lots and get my exercise.  I need a family that will spend their time with me, I am a captain-needy-pants but it’s because I am a really special boy who loves to be around his family.  Like all dogs, I want to live inside the house as part of the family. My forever family should be experienced with my breed & continuing my training because I am strong and still learning.  I do walk well on a leash, but I do pull some – like I said, I am full of energy and very curious!  I LOVE to learn (I am super bright!) & I am VERY food motivated!  I am loving and playful and I do a bit of talking when I am ignored; I just want to be the center of your world!  My favorite person will be dedicated to me and give me lots of positive, constructive exercise, walks and people time.  Sometimes I need some downtime because when I get too excited, I need my person to let me know and calm me down. My family should also know that I have some fear issues since I wasn’t exposed to very much outside the 1-bedroom apt I lived in with my family of five (3 small children & 2 adults) so I had never seen a hose or an electric garage door or a pool and I’m working through it but I am still a bid timid around some normal everyday things.  My foster family is helping me work on these things in the meantime. Sometimes I do need my quiet time.  I like to relax and chill out in my crate (it’s my hangout place for a couple of hours at a time with my nylabone and lots of cool water), I am very well crate trained.  My new family needs to be caring & patient (because I’m still learning) and they will soon see how much love I have to give them!  If they just love me and take care of me, I will be so dedicated and loyal to them forever - I will be the most amazing lap dog! This kitten is being fostered in Milpitas. PLEASE READ HIS FULL BIO FOR MORE DETAILS, I bet all your questions will be answered!   TO ADOPT: FILL OUT ADOPTION APPLICATION AT TCRESCUE.COM/ADOPT   Hello my name is Captain Boots and thanks for looking me up.  I turned ~7 months old in November. My foster mommy says I am really a good boy.  And why not? see, I was born wearing a tux!! So I am a perfect gentleman :)   I may be a wee bit shy when I meet new people, but I once I get to know you, I turn into a cuddle bug. I love  all the attention ( especially from the ladies)  and I am not afraid to ask for more  I am nuts about food and will eat both dry food and wet food with the same enthusiasm. I am learning to use a scratch pad and i have impeccable litterbox habits. I even announce myself like a gentleman (with tiny meows) before using my litterbox.    Though being a gentleman 24/7 is a tough job, I make plenty of time to explore, play with toys and cuddle. Playing with my foster brother Prof. Cubs ( or other name)  is my most favorite thing in the world!! I like to wrestle, play tag, and play hide and seek with my brother. I am also friends with a big fluffy doggo and I enjoy swatting at his tail. ( I think the doggo can't tell we are two of us :)    I am fostered with my kitty brother and we both are looking for our furr-ever home!  I will be very happy at a home with other kitty and/or doggo friends. If you decide to adopt me and my brother both, that will be the best thing ever! Wont you come say hi to us?   Read about the benefits of adopting cats in pairs here: www.tcrescue.com/why2cats   Captain Boots is being fostered in Milpitas. This kitten is being fostered in San Jose. PLEASE READ HER FULL BIO FOR MORE DETAILS,  I bet all your questions will be answered!   TO ADOPT: FILL OUT ADOPTION APPLICATION AT TCRESCUE.COM/ADOPT I’m Jasmine (aka Jazzy) and looking for a furrever home. I turned 5 months old in September and I'm completely litterbox trained. I tend to be super shy when meeting new people and my instinct is to hide. Once we get to know each other though, you’ll find that I’m independent, confident, and even-tempered. Play, eat, sleep, and explore ... that's a purrfect day! I was the runt of the litter and ate less than the others during meal time. That's probably why I like to sample different foods now, but please don’t feed it to me! Like I really need to be eating donuts and cheese puffs, right? If you eat Greek Yogurt though, I don’t mind licking the top. Just sayin’. As for sleeping, nothing’s better than a daytime nap in a comfortable, quiet, dark space.   My foster family say I have a sweet and gentle personality. I do! Admittedly though, I’m not much of a lap cat. I don't always like to be picked up, either. Do you like my name? I certainly do! I purr when I hear it - Jazzy. And if I'm in another room, I'll usually come running when you call me.  My purrfect match is a quiet home with other cats and no small children. I was fostered with two adult cats and I enjoy the companionship.  Jazzy is being fostered in San Jose. Her adoption fee is $25. She is spayed and has had her first FVRCP vaccination.  If you would like to meet this kitten, please start by filling out our adoption application at: tcrescue.com/adopt ADOPTION INQUIRIES SUBMITTED WITHOUT A COMPLETED APPLICATION FROM THE LINK ABOVE MAY NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This cat is being fostered in Mountain View. Please READ HER FULL BIO for more details, I bet all your questions will be answered!  TO ADOPT: FILL OUT ADOPTION APPLICATION AT TCRESCUE.COM/ADOPT Oreo likes to be near people, always sleeping on our bed at night, and occasionally enjoys sittings on laps when she's in the mood for cuddles. She's a bit shy but once she gets to know you she's super friendly. She's good about using her scratching post and litterbox and is comfortable being picked up or brushed. She does not get along with other animals and does best with kids over 15 years old. She does love exploring and would probably enjoy indoor / outdoor access if available.
