About W'Kabi

W’kabi is a striking tuxedo kitty with the warmest eyes. When he and his brother Zuri first arrived in foster care, they would hide under the bed from fear. It's clear to us W’kabi did not get enough attention before coming to us. Since settling in his foster home, he's developed a very gentle and playful side. He will run and jump for a wand toy like the best of them. He also adores catnip and will roll as much as possible in it. W’kabi is still overcoming his shy side and will occasionally slink around the room, rather than walking with confidence. He craves attention and will use a tiny squeaky voice to call out to you for attention. W’kabi is FIV+, but living quite well with his FIV- brother, Zuri. The rewards for a little patience and understanding will be amazing – a loving companion for life who’s up for a good chin scratch session! W'kabi is neutered and microchipped, This cat is in a loving foster home.  To meet him, please fill out our adoption application at www.thedancingcat.org/adopt.  More information about this cat and all of our adoptable cats can be found at www.thedancingcat.org/cats.

Chuck and Norris are wonderful, unique, funny and loving cats. They are brothers and have been together their entire lives and they should continue to stay together. They're indoor cats who love to cuddle up, get rambunctious with their toys and let their curiosity run free. Chuck is quick to love new people, especially if they have a warm and inviting lap and some treats. He’s the first to curl up with you at night in bed, followed by Norris, and is always ready to give you a friendly reminder that it’s “food o’clock.” Chuck loves a good window sill with a view, preferably with birds, but any where he can people watch is where you’ll find him most often. Chuck prefers to be held like a baby being burped, cause he thinks he’s still a baby I guess. Neither has ever shown any aggressive behavior, other than towards each other on the occasional brotherly fight night. But they’ll go back to cuddling with each other when it’s cold out. Norris is a big softy that loves to be held in a sitting position on your lap with his tummy rubbed. He just likes to be in the same room as you, even if he’s just sitting and waiting for you to be done brushing your teeth. He’s a bit clumsy for a cat, but he’s provided a lot of the comic relief between him and Chuck. He may be skittish at first with new people, and especially loud noises, but if you have a gentle approach and give him treats, he’ll love you lots.
