My name is Alexis, and I am a total LOVER. I love hoomans, of all kinds, other puppies like me, and kids, but I don't have the greatest track record with cats but I doubt I would have the heart to actually hurt one. I am very low maintenance and "chill" as my Foster Mom likes to say majority of the time. I do get happy and excited when my hoomans come home or when they want to play but I never bark. I do snore a lot and have the occasional drool string or two but, I am house-trained and very responsive to the word "No". I am not too physically active but, I looove walks and to be with my hoomans as much as I can. I also like being around other dogs and snuggling with them. I would prefer to be in a home with another brother or sister or two if possible but, also enjoy being an only child to claim ALL THE CUDDLES. Can I interest you in some Netflix & treats?! This pet is available for pre-adoption and may not be officially ready for adoption, as it is still undergoing medical treatment. Say hello to Ambrose! This silly guy is just shy of a year old and would love to mark that milestone by getting adopted. In the meantime, he's happy getting lots of love, walks and play time in a foster home. Ambrose is a lab mix who likes other pups, but he's a chatty dog. He barks at other dogs, but just to talk and say hello. He is house training at the moment and is good in his crate. As for his personality, he's a total sweetheart! He's very affectionate and loves a good time. His foster really enjoys play time with Ambrose because he is so happy to play any game - fetch, tug of war, you name it. He has a silly, goofy energy about him that's irresistible. An ideal home for him is one with a yard and a family who will be dedicated to daily walks and outside time. Ambrose is great on a leash - he doesn't pull; he just enjoys the sights and smells of the outdoors. This silly pup deserves the perfect forever home. Could that be with you? Apply to adopt Ambrose today! All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. Meet Bates the Basset Hound! Have you ever seen a funnier looking pup? This happy goof is around 8 years old and is loving life in his foster home as he waits for his forever family to find him. Bates is a good boy - he gets along with everyone! Dogs, kids, doesn't matter. He immediately becomes best buddies with anyone he meets. He's also a talkative dog. He will always let you know how much he loves his pets, belly rubs, and ear scratches by grunting. Bates also likes to patrol the house to see what everyone is up to...especially if people are in the kitchen! As for toys, he likes to roll around with them on the floor but as you might have gathered because he's a basset hound, he doesn't need to play fetch to get out any energy. An ideal home for Bates is one with a family that will work with him on house training. He doesn't know that it's bad to mark in the house! So a patient, present family is key. Being that he's so social, Bates would love companions at home, along with his people being home a lot. He also would love to accompany his people to coffee shops and on strolls around town. His long body and big, goofy ears make him quite the showstopper, so he's bound to make lots of friends while out and about! This silly pup deserves the perfect forever home. Could it be with you? How handsome and stately is Beaux? He is a very well behaved, laid back "old man" Pittie mix, around 7 years old. He is a lover of people and other dogs he meets. His snuggle and snooze level are about a 9....he even likes to cuddle up with his other fur siblings, and nap often. Toys only interest him if someone picks them up. He is housetrained, crate-trained, and being fostered in a home currently with other dogs with a sugar-glider- and isn't phased by either. Beaux will wait by the door-to signal he has to go potty, rarely barks, but needs eyedrops for his dry eyes, which is pretty regular. Beaux is the dog equivalent of finding a pot of gold and will be a blessing to any owner, couple or family who wants to have a senior pet live out their "golden years" in their home! Who's ready to take him home?? Could it be you? All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. Darby, a name of Irish origin meaning "free from envy." We wish wish could say that was true for this DARBY but to be honest, she's a little envious. She's a little envious of the pups walking down the street with a person to call their own--she'd LOVE to have a hooman herself! DARBY is the sweetest, cuddliest mama. After rearing three gorgeous puppies it's time for Miss DARBY to be spoiled and pampered as a puppy herself. This beauty stops people on the street receiving unsolicited compliments about her stunning good looks. But it's her personality that will really win you over. When it comes to perfect dogs--DARBY has got what it takes. She's crate trained, potty trained, dog friendly, kid friendly and has manners to boot. We promise you will be the envy of the town with DARBY riding passenger along side you. Apply to meet DARBY today! Hi! My name is Fabulous Figaro! I am the friendliest boy you ever did see! I injured my paw before being rescued, but now I'm on my way to purr-fect health! My foster mama says I am a snuggle bug, but I am most definitely a cat; so she's really silly!
