About Opal

Owner died and family could not take her. Opal is affectionate on her terms. She is gorgeous and she knows it! Also can be a little feisty...she would prefer to come to you and keep her paws on the ground. Opal would do best in a home with no other animals and no young children, where she can be the queen of her castle. ##374044##

Pictures available by text.  Not gonna lie.  CALEB IS THE MOST FUN FOSTER I'VE EVER HAD!!!  He's:  smart, curious, brave, sweet, purr-y, polite, loving, snuggly, funny, and wonderful.  Caleb is a special cat, and his new home will be a better place for having Caleb in it! Caleb Diary 3/29/2020.  Caleb has a diary due to his foster status.  He's been with me since the day of the Dallas County Shelter in Place order.  He is affiliated with the Las Colinas group which is currently unable to do adoptions at the tiny local PetCo.  Given that be could be transferred, this is a record of his time with JKO. Caleb is determined to be two years of age as of 3/3/2020, his intake/neuter date.  I don't know where he came from, only that he was intact and has 'Tom Cheeks.'  He is fostered with 2 neutered male cats.  I'm using an enclosed octagonal playpen, and there is no direct interaction. Caleb has settled in nicely.  He's a lap/nap buddy.  He doesn't like a bed or blanket, but he loves to be on the ottoman.  He discovered toys today (yay) and the sliding glass door to the balcony.  I don't know what he saw, but he came away slinking and growling.  He was easily placated with soft talk and a pat. He wishes there was more wet food, but I did my shopping before the SIP.  He enjoys Hills Science Diet 1-6 dry.  He has excellent litter box skills.  He sleeps through the night, but will chirp for attention of he hears you.  He doesn't bother Phin or Ned on their meanderings.  Phin gives him a hiss. ##608041## show less
