Hi, My name is Butter Bean! Along with my highly boopable nose, I also have great looks, and a stunning personality. Let me tell ya a little ‘bout myself. I came to SNIPSA a few months ago with my newborn puppies. I nursed them and raised them until they were old enough to find their own homes and boy was I relieved when they did! But now, it’s just me left and I would love to find my forever home. Of course, my foster family will miss me after these past couple of months being with them. My foster mom raves about how amazing I am and not to boop my own nose but she’s not wrong. You see, not only am I potty trained, I am also crate trained, and know a few commands! I go for daily walks with my foster mom and my foster sister and walk great on a leash. I walk so well that I can tell other dogs are jealous of my walk so I may bark at them a bit when they come near me. But don’t get me wrong-I’m a friendly girl! I love other dogs but cats are the worst so please don’t have one in my new home. Car rides are fun and being a working dog, I make a great hiking and adventure companion! I’m great with the tiny hoomans and love to snuggle up with them. Everyone at SNIPSA is beanboozled at the fact that I’m still here! Naia, calm and reserved yet intuitive and looking to please. Naia ended up facing a major life hurdle on New Year’s Eve. What we imagined is that Naia was an outdoor dog who escaped her yard in fear during the loud booms while us humans rang in the year. While out running for what felt like her life, she was struck by a car and left on the side of the road in a dirt road unable to walk. Her foster mom found her while out walking her dog the next morning and scooped her up. We faced many challenges and let downs while trying to get help for sweet Naia, and ultimately it was too late for surgery and instead, started a 8 week long journey of physical therapy to get the girl walking again. Naia’s pelvis was shattered though she never showed one ounce of pain through it all. She was always stoic, loving, and appreciative. Every now and then, you would see a glimpse of hope in her caramel eyes as she continued on with her rehab. Eventually, Naia was able to walk again. Naia still continues to grow and get stronger every day. She loves to go for walks with her foster siblings and cuddle on the couch next to everyone. Naia is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. She gets along with al dogs, though she doesn’t love to be jumped on and rough housed with-understandably so. Naia also gets along very well with cats. Ideally Naia would be adopted into a house with other pets as she prefers to have a companion by her side. Naia is learning how to play with toys and adjust to that “pet” life. Naia loves to chew on a good bone and sun bathe for hours on end. She has a special way of showing her love and will likely throw herself at your feet asking for a belly rub. Please consider adopting this gentle soul into your furever family and fill out an application today at www.snipsa.org! show less

The gorgeous Sephora walked through our doors with her tail tucked, ears down, and a big pregnant belly. But after a full work up and making sure she was healthy and ready to give birth, off she went to a foster. Immediately, Sephora was grateful and happy to be in her foster home. And her fosters were happy to support Sephora! They did their research and watched youtube video after video to prepare for the puppies’ arrival. Thankfully, we got Sephora just in time as two days later, she had her litter! With the help of her foster family keeping her comfortable and safe, her five puppies arrived, healthy and thriving! Now, 8 weeks and some change later, Sephora is finally ready to find her very own home! She is still just as grateful and happy to be in a home and is one loyal gal. Sephora is happy to spend a lazy day cuddled up on the couch with you or in the backyard roaming around with her foster friends. Sephora is as sweet as they come and is gentle with children, playful with dogs, and doesn’t bother the cats. Because Sephora is still learning how to “dog”, she would love a home with a playful pup to show her the ropes. Sephora is house trained and crate trained and this heeler mix is very treat motivated so she will be quick to train. Want to give Sephora the home she deserves?
