About Freeway

Can you guess how our little Freeway got his name? At 3 weeks old at best, Freeway was found alongside his mother, who unfortunately did not make it across the busy highway. A Good Samaritan pulled over and rescued the tiny kitten. She brought her in to SNIPSA just in time as he was still so young and suffering from a respiratory infection. After some antibiotics, a few scary moments, and an amazing foster who took Freeway everywhere with her, he is finally the healthy and happy kitten just waiting for his forever family! Freeway is one social kitten-he loves people and is happy to greet everyone he meets! He enjoys tagging along with his foster to Farmer’s Markets and Trade Days where he hangs out in his carrier and purrs nonstop. When he’s at home, you’ll find this one and a half pound kitten romping around with his 90 pound lab friend or the resident cat. Freeway is amazing with children and will snuggle up with anyone. Hi, My name is Butter Bean! Along with my highly boopable nose, I also have great looks, and a stunning personality. Let me tell ya a little ‘bout myself. I came to SNIPSA a few months ago with my newborn puppies. I nursed them and raised them until they were old enough to find their own homes and boy was I relieved when they did! But now, it’s just me left and I would love to find my forever home. Of course, my foster family will miss me after these past couple of months being with them. My foster mom raves about how amazing I am and not to boop my own nose but she’s not wrong. You see, not only am I potty trained, I am also crate trained, and know a few commands! I go for daily walks with my foster mom and my foster sister and walk great on a leash. I walk so well that I can tell other dogs are jealous of my walk so I may bark at them a bit when they come near me. But don’t get me wrong-I’m a friendly girl! I love other dogs but cats are the worst so please don’t have one in my new home. Car rides are fun and being a working dog, I make a great hiking and adventure companion! I’m great with the tiny hoomans and love to snuggle up with them. Everyone at SNIPSA is beanboozled at the fact that I’m still here! The gorgeous Sephora walked through our doors with her tail tucked, ears down, and a big pregnant belly. But after a full work up and making sure she was healthy and ready to give birth, off she went to a foster. Immediately, Sephora was grateful and happy to be in her foster home. And her fosters were happy to support Sephora! They did their research and watched youtube video after video to prepare for the puppies’ arrival. Thankfully, we got Sephora just in time as two days later, she had her litter! With the help of her foster family keeping her comfortable and safe, her five puppies arrived, healthy and thriving! Now, 8 weeks and some change later, Sephora is finally ready to find her very own home! She is still just as grateful and happy to be in a home and is one loyal gal. Sephora is happy to spend a lazy day cuddled up on the couch with you or in the backyard roaming around with her foster friends. Sephora is as sweet as they come and is gentle with children, playful with dogs, and doesn’t bother the cats. Because Sephora is still learning how to “dog”, she would love a home with a playful pup to show her the ropes. Sephora is house trained and crate trained and this heeler mix is very treat motivated so she will be quick to train. Want to give Sephora the home she deserves?
