Here's how we describe Ebony ("Ebi"): • Playful yet calm when you need her to be • Docile • Loving with her foster mom • Potty trained and uses a doggie door • Gets along great with dogs of all sizes and loves to play with them • Loves stuffed toys • Melts like butter in your lap • Extremely timid of new people and new situations so would do best in a household without a lot of strangers coming and going • Would do best in an adult only home because she's so shy • Having a confident dog in the household would help her gain confidence • Quiet most of the time • Crate trained • 8.6 lbs • 8 months old • Terrier • Spayed • Microchipped • Up to date on shots • Has not been in a household with cats so we don't know how she is with them • Lives in a household with parrots and pays no attention to them • Not suited for apartment living in a busy urban area Here's an additional video of Ebony (copy & paste into your browser): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlJFo-jYftA&list=UUiOCLnrG7w8TC9NUpt-GaPw Ebi's adoption fee is $150 which would be used to pay for spay/neutering, medical treatment, food, & supplies for homeless dogs. She would do best in a household without small children. Olive is a young adult female 3-Toe Box Turtle who is friendly and engaging. She likes to spend most of her time on hot days buried in her dirt pile, with frequent dips in her pond. Olive eats turtle pellets, scrambled eggs, and live worms and slugs. She will need an adopter who can provide a humid outdoor environment that is secure on all sides and has a protective netting or fencing along the top to protect her from predators. She will make an excellent companion for a turtle-loving family! Here's other videos of Olive (copy & paste into your browser): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYlFE-_JH08&list=UUiOCLnrG7w8TC9NUpt-GaPw&index=4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVuiwwz6iE0&list=UUiOCLnrG7w8TC9NUpt-GaPw&index=6 To give you an idea of Olive's size, she's 5.5 inches long by 4.5 inches wide. We're not sure of her age since she was found by someone and brought to a San Diego shelter. Olive's adoption fee is $20 which will go to help other homeless animals. If you'd like to meet Olive please fill out a reptile pre-adoption application on the Animal Alliance of San Diego website, or you can copy & paste this into your browser: https://www.animalalliancesd.org/adoption If you live outside San Diego County we may allow you to adopt if you'd provide Olive with an exceptional home.
